Katie Couric is going to be quite busy come September. Not only will she begin anchoring the CBS Evening News starting September 5th, but she'll also be hosting her first prime-time news special on the network one day later.
Titled Five Years Later - How Safe Are We? the special will tie in to the 5th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. The special will focus on what the government is doing to prevent any future attacks as well talk with experts on how the anxiety of 9/11 still affects Americans.
But that's not all, folks. On September 11th Ms. Couric will be anchoring her evening news show direct from Ground Zero in Manhattan. It's just a part of the special coverage CBS News plans to have to mark the occasion.

Will Katie be covering the war games on 9/11? That is the war games that sent a large number of the USAF's fighters from the Eastern seabord to Alaska and Northern Canada along with the highjacking exercises also going on at the same time which painted false blips on radarscopes representing bogus hijacked planes so that the controllers didn't know which were real and which were fake hijacked aircraft. According to Mike Ruppert in his book, "Crossing the Rubicon: The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil," These false blips and lack of available fighters confused the air traffic control people so that standard procedures to intercept potential hijacked planes couldn't be followed that day.
Will Katie cover Sibel Edmonds, the FBI whistleblower who appeared before the 9/11 Commission but has been slapped with a gag order forbidding her to talk publicly about her claims that systemic problems within the FBI translation department led to important evidence about the 9/11 hijackers being overlooked that could have stopped the attacks. Ms. Edmonds is also on the record as indicating the 9/11 plotters were involved with drug smuggling and money laundering operations which also involved American citzens? See:
