On October 24th (six weeks later than originally announced), The Swan: The Complete Series will be released on DVD.
To be blunt, what type of person would buy this on DVD? Are there fans that loved this FOX show - a reality competition where women are given extreme makeovers, including plastic surgery - so much that they are waiting for it to come out on DVD so they can watch it again and again and again?
Seriously, I don't understand this at all. I think this show is for people who find Girls Gone Wild too intellectual and inspiring.

Just because you didn't like the show doesn't mean that nobody liked it. I'm sure there are shows you enjoy watching that someone else could say, "...what type of person would buy this on DVD?"

I'm with Bob one this one. Sounds like Alison is one of those folks that will be picking this atrocity up the day it comes out. Does anyone know of a website for the worst selling dvd's of all time?

Maybe superficial west coast types obsessed with plastic surgery? Like the same kind of people who watch Dr. 90210. I'm just guessing here....yeah the show sucked.

DVD season set releases make no sense. Good series are axed after one season is released because sales didn't reach some arbitrarily-set goal, but the studios keep pumping out dreck like this. I mean, "Blue Thunder: The Complete Series". We get this stuff, but forget about something like "Night Court".

whoa whoa...hold on. "Blue Thunder" is on DVD?!? first "The Swan" and now this? I'm in heaven. ;)
as for the swan, yeah, i watched it. why not? it was entertaining. would i buy it on DVD? no, but i'm sure there are people out there who really got into the stories of the women on the show, and maybe there will be extra footage or something on the DVD's.
and Bob, as someone who thinks watching people play cards is one of the best "sports" to watch on TV, you're the last person who should be criticizing what TV shows people enjoy.
