12 oz. Mouse, Adult Swim's cartoon about a poorly-drawn drunken mouse and his adventures with various pieces of clip art is coming back for a second season. The season kicks off on September 17, though as of this writing the actually airtime is unspecified. Quite honestly, I never knew what to make of 12 oz. Mouse. Some programs I love, others I hate, and then there are those like 12 oz. Mouse I could just never form a definite opinion on. I dug the humor just fine, but found the pacing to be too slow to my liking, and the minimalist quality of the show, which I would normally find endearing, just didn't turn me on. Is anyone out there excited about this show coming back?12 oz. Mouse is coming back

I'm soooo pumped, nothing humors a 21 year old college student more - well I take that back - one out of my 3 roommates doesn't care for the show - but the rest of us we accept the crappy animation (it adds to the show here and there, love the corn dog farm, and skillet (the only gerbil that can be blown up and killed one epsiode only to return in the next episode like nothing happened.)

I love this show and I'm super excited that it's comming back.
2 best quotes from the show ever:
"We're gonna be rock starts, but first, we have to burgle"
"I thought you were driving?"
"WAS driving. Sitting back here with you now"

If I were a stoned-out-of-my-mind 20 something (since this show is written for stoned-out-of-their-mind twenty somethings), I'd be pretty excited. If your clean and sober, 12 oz. Mouse is just annoying.

Hey, Dave? Don't read too much into this... But if you're not a stoned-out-of-your-mind 20-something, um... what are you doing up at 12:45 AM Monday morning watching the Cartoon Network? You know what I mean... Tee hee.

You have to be in a mood to watch this - either sleep-deprived or high!

I have watched this show stoned out of my mind before, and it still sucked and had no point.
Maybe, I should eat mushrooms, to see what others find the least bit redemable about this piece of shit crap.

I've watched this drunk and baked out of my gourd on several occasions and I don't like it one bit. I've been a huge fan of ATHF since it began, so I though I would love 12 Oz Mouse as well, but it is just a total bore for me.
The only reason this is getting more episodes is because it is so damn cheap to make, and boy does it show...

I've watched the show in a number of different states of mind and for me it doesn't matter, I love it equally under all conditions. I believe Adult Swim said it best when in one of their bumps they showed viewer email on both sides of the fence, then called it "the most polarizing show we've ever had." Its true, its a love it or hate it style of show, and I just can't get enough of it.

I understand the "Lynch" esque thing with the show. It has a running thread that reveals itself slowly, but I don't think there's enough story to carry it well...
I'd rather have Perfect Hair Forever back sooner than 12 oz Mouse. At least PHF had jokes. 12 oz just ran on impossible situations coupled with repetitive dialog/action.

All of adult swim shows are themed around impossible situations! Hmmm, a talking box of fries, milkshake, and a meatball. Now that is believable, come on buddy, talk it out before you post.
As for having to be under the influence to enjoy a show, well, your an idiot.
12oz Mouse is a show I truly enjoy. They are making the second season for two reasons:
1. Yes, the production costs are not as large when compared to other cartoons.
2. Although some would find it hard to believe, the show has a fan base that is repeatably asking for more episodes. (Or at least a freaking box set of the first season!)
