(S04E03) The live eviction episodes are always a chance for the Chenbot to demonstrate her most robotic speaking patterns. I wonder what her voice was like growing up (did she go to high school or was she built in a lab somewhere?). But this week, there must have been a glitch in her operating system, she actually made a mistake and I think her voice rose half an octave. The first few evictions aren't full of a lot of heat and this one is a no-brainer. It occurs to me that Alison is deeply clueless, she manages to alienate nearly everyone before the vote. Meanwhile Danielle schemes quietly, playing up her need to take care of her family (her rationale from her previous season). I love Marcellas. In describing the choice between Alison he asks how do you choose between gonorrhea and the clap. Okay, they are the same thing but still a great line. And I think that most of the household agrees. But still a choice has to be made.
Before the vote though, he comes the filler. Jase, is more likeable but still a schemer and Alison's new boyfriend believes Alison won't be a big flirt like she was in her last Big Brother season. Not that she'll get the chance, tonight the vote was firmly for Alison with only Nakomis and Diane voting for Danielle. Even Marcellas who balked at keeping Danielle in the house caved. The video clips after the eviction aren't exactly too sweet either, everyone seems pretty happy to let Alison go. They keep saying what a sharp competitor she is but I wonder if she was actually just not a lot of fun to live with.
This week there is only one HoH. The competition is called "Alison Rules" and the winner has to figure out how Alison answered certain questions. Kaysar wins easily but the Chenbot slips up and accidentally announces Nokomis as the winner. Things should get interesting now. This should be a big shakeup for Boogie and Will. Although who knows, anything could happen. Did anyone else catch the look on Kaysar's face when James hugged him?

This week was my first time watching Big Brother. I swore I wasn't going to get hooked on it, like I had with Survivor, but since I don't have cable, there I was wrapped up in the drama, eagerly awaiting Alison's possible eviction. Even my sister who laughed at me for being so keen on watching the eviction episode was herself rooting for Alison's eviction midway through the episode.

I want them to fast forward a few week to when it might finally get interesting. Until you can really start seeing the finish line, nothing too exciting happens. Maybe the longer they live with each other the less it will feel like they are playing a role or having their lives scripted by CBS. It's almost like they were told who to hate before they came into the house and they are all acting the part.

MrsEldubya, that's sorta true isn't it? I mean I'm sure some of these people have had contact with each other (I'm talking about interseason contact). But for the most part the only knowledge they have of each other was from the "TV persona" that they all developed for themselves in their own season.
It's hard to change right away if everyone expects you to be something else. I think this is true for Dr. Will, Howie, and probably a few other people.
So were they told who to hate before they came into the house? Well it's almost like watching BB6 and then spending a week with Jennifer or Cappy. No matter what they say first, you're going to hate them when you meet them from what you've seen. So it does make sense that the longer they all stay together, the less they have to rely to the "TV persona" they know.
Then again some people probably won't ever change their personalities. ::cough:: Will ::cough:: Howie ::cough::

ALISON WAS THE FIRST ALL-STAR CONTESTANT TO BE EVICTED FROM THE BIG BROTHER ALL-STAR HOUSE 2 NIGHTS AGO BY AN 8-2 VOTE AND THEN AFTER THAT, KAYSAR RIDHA FROM BB 4 BECAME THE NEXT HOH 2 NIGHTS AGO.
DIANE AND NAKOMIS FROM BB 5 WERE BOTH NOMINATED FOR EVICTION BY KAYSAR RIDHA FROM BB 6 LAST NIGHT.
I'M ONE HELL OF A BIG BROTHER FAN AND I KEEP YOU UP TO DATE AND WHENEVER THE POWER OF VETO COMPETION COMES UP , KEEP ME POSTED.

God help me, hooked again and it's only the first week! Summer television is SO boring that I actually look forward to the start of BB! This season I find myself once again fascinated with wily, wicked Dr. Will and still rooting for Kaysar to make it to the end! Anyone with me on that?
