(S02E04) Welcome to the results show, or as I saw it tonight, the evening of non-originality. The most innovative thing this evening was Lukas's makeup. He seems to do more with his makeup each night than most of the women. Most male singers throw on a little eyeliner and that's it. Lukas must have a trunk-sized make-up kit. The singers tonight however decided to recycle everything that had already gone before.Toby wins the encore, which I don't quite get. He's good enough I suppose, and quite a tasty muffin but I would have given the encore to Phil. The bottom three are Jill, Zayra and naturally Chris.
Jill sings "Bring Me To Life." I'm not sure why she picks a song we have already heard and which didn't really work for the last person who sang it (I think it was Zayra). Yes, she can sing and yes she is hot but still, it's not an amazing performance. And was it my imagination or did she cross herself while singing?
Zayra sings "You Really Got Me" which is what she sang the night before. She does it a little differently but this is still a risky move. To me it seem like hubris, like she is saying, "I know you all thought this was awful but you don't have any taste because clearly I rock this song." Not so much.
Chris sings "If You Could Only See" which Phil sang the night before. Now Phil may not have great stage presence but he does have a better voice than this. Chris gets his well-deserved walking papers. He tried very hard though and the band members are very sweet to him. They clearly like him and he seems like a great guy.

This kind of Junk is about as bad as Vh1's Supergroup and even worse than watching homeless people on the Streets of L.A...

I really liked how u described Zayra's performance as being likehubris..while I remain undecided about her, I too found myself to be confused with why she would insist on reperforming the same song that
did not sit well w/ the jugdes last night...is this her stand, saying she'sa rocker and she won't change..i guess this shows guts and risktaking on somelevel but maybe also highlights her unwillingless to
heed criticicm and displays a level ofconceit which may turn off the voters and judges as well..we'll have to see how things play out for her. Ilike toby and really enjoy his performance and yeah, he's sweet on
the eyes . Overall, I really look forward to seeing what dilana will perfom each week,as she seems to be a very unique and passionateperformer..well, thats my piece, look forward to hearing what evryone
else thinks...bye

I am not impressed with any of the so called singers this season. I also think Tommy Lee needs to let Jason talk more often and stop being so rude to him or Super Nova will go under before it gets started .

They should have gotten rid of BOTH Chris and Zayra. I am still scratching my head why she would do the same song, hubris or no.
Frankly very strange song choices for all 3 of them. I don't get it.
Unfortunately this season looks like it's already down to Dilana and Lukas who are heads and shoulders above the rest, which will make for no drama. Waiting for a dark horse to emerge...

I am astounded that Zayra is still on this show. She was mildly horrible the first week but this week with You Really Got Me she demonstrated that she has no range, no understanding of rock, no stage presence and couldn't give a damn about fronting that band.
The band was laughing their head off at her performance, as were her fellow participants... I have NEVER heard a worse performance of a song than I heard on Tuesday night by her.
I still think the show is around so that Tommy Lee can get laid... again.

did tommy lee say "45 revolutions per second" when describing 45' records?? it should be 45 revs per minute, at 45 revs per second they'd all sound like sopranos!! i could be mistaken, dont have tivo, so couldnt check.
