Things are really looking up for Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie on Full House so many years ago. Shortly after revealing that she was overcoming an addiction to methamphetamines, she was hired by Fuse music television to host a show about stripping. Fuse is keeping her around. She's set to start filming a series about malls for the music channel, called Get Malled, beginning on Monday in Philadelphia. The series also includes guest appearances by Justin Long ("I'm a Mac") and Jesse Metcalfe of Desperate Housewives. After the series, Sweetin says she has two movies lined up, although nothing is listed on her IMDB bio.[Via TV Tattle]

Good for her! I am glad to see that Jodi is recovering from her awful addiction. Also, it will be good to see her somewhat in the spotlight again. We all know of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and John Stamos, and I have begun to see more of Bob Saget in recent months touring on various comedy circuits. Perhaps my celebrity crush growing up(Sweetin) can have a successful career once again. Good luck Jodi!

Whatever happened to the stripping show she was scheduled to host? That somewhat neuteralized her overcoming the drug addiction in my eyes. But if she's trading that show for this one, that's great.

Why hire an Elvis imitator when she knows John Stamos? :) And we all know from "Full House" that he can do a good Elvis in his own right. Have merrrrr-CY!

To comment number 14. I heard on the radio her marriage failed due to her addiction, and they got divorced.
I'm really happy for her, I truly hope she does well.

Did Jodie ever say what made her start doing drugs? Was it her choice or choice of her piers and by that I mean was it the "thing" to do? Also is her little sister the one that played Allie on Everybofy Loves Raymond? They have the same last name and look remarkable alike. If so, does she have a close relationship with her, enough to keep her from making the same mistake with the drugs?

Please don't tell me to learn to spell, I do apologize for the typo's. I was trying to feed my baby and type at the same time. It doesn't work very well, but I hope you get the point of my comment. Thanks. Way to go Jodie!
