Yeah, those are the revelations from this interview with The Sun. She says she's really smart and made up the persona she has on The Simple Life. This is good news, because watching the show you say to yourself, my God, I hope she isn't really like that. And in the only thing Paris Hilton has ever said that makes me respect her a smidge, she says "all reality shows are fake. When you a camera on you, you are not going to act like yourself."
Hilton also says she's quite shy and doesn't like to party, and that if you see her at a party at 3am, she's getting paid for it. Hmmm...

meh, she could possibly, somehow in a singularity of chance might be intelligent, but who cares, she's a filthy rich bitch. The only way I'd respect her is if she actually started donating the money she has to charity. That would be the 'smart' thing to do, wouldn't it Ms. Hilton?

I have always known that she was really smart. Paris Hilton is the epitome of the american dream. There are tons of good looking, rich women that you have never heard of. She was able to turn her modest fame from being the daughter of hotel millionare into a tv show, commercials, movies, modeling jobs, a recording contract, a book, fashion and cosmetic lines, and numerous personal appearances.
Also, she has donated a lot of money to charity(at least $40,000). Perhaps that isn't a lot as a percentage of her net worth, but its more than most americans have donated.

Paris Hilton is intelligent in certain ways by default. A wealthy aristocratic family does not dare raise their daughter or son without imparting at least some strategically important information (including "appropriate" levels of philanthropy, hah).
And in this very real sense, she knows things about society most people will never know.

I was thinking that Paris Hilton was always like that with saying "that's hot" the way she did on The Simple Life. I'm relieved that she's not going to do that show any longer. I'm more excited about her upcoming album for Warner Bros. in August than the ilk she does on that reality show. It sounds like a fun dance pop album the way she describes it in interviews. Shades of Gwen Stefani and even Madonna. Can't wait to hear the songs she did with hitmaker Scott Storch!

I have read her court testimony from the Zeta Graff case and yes, she really is that stupid.
For example:
In her deposition, Paris is asked about a companion with her that night whose first name is Terry. When asked if she knew his last name, Paris replied: "It is, like, a weird Greek name. Like Douglas.”
Paul Berra, Graff’s lawyer, asks Paris if she is aware that the Page Six article had been republished in various newspapers. "Were there U.K. publications?" Berra asks. Hilton responds "No...there is stuff in London." Paris' lawyer, Larry Stein, jumps in and says "London is a U.K. publication." Paris retorts, "Right. U.K. Whatever."
More Paris-isms

You think 40k is generous? Miss Hilton commands 150k to 200k to "appear" at a commercially sponsored party for 20 minutes.
