Hell's Kitchen host and chef Gordon Ramsay got an OBE (Order of the British Empire) yesterday in Scotland.
Don't worry, he actually wore a suit and tie and didn't swear at the Queen even once. The article above also says that he hosts a show on Channel 4 titled The F Word. Anyone know what that is?
By the way, Hell's Kitchen is doing rather well in the ratings this summer for FOX, consistently placing in the top 20 shows of the week.

The F Word (http://www.channel4.com/fword) is kind of a magazine show about food. It's part Hell's Kitchen (some amateur chefs try to cook food for a restaurant full of the general public while Gordon shouts at them), part celebrity chat show (celebrities come on and either talk about food with Gordon or they try to make better food than him and a tasting panel does a blind test to decide which dish is better), part consumer affairs programme (Gordon or someone else investigates something), part soapbox (Gordon tries to get everyone in the country cooking Sunday lunch again), part cooking show (Gordon shows you how to cook something, sometimes by teaching celebrities how to cook) and part educational broadcast (Gordon show you how to rear pigs in your back garden so they can be slaughtered for food later. Last year, it was turkeys who got the chop).
As you can tell, there are a lot of parts, it's all a bit of a mess, but it's relatively entertaining and is really just an excuse for Gordon to swear a lot (The F word of the title is supposed to be 'food' though, allegedly).

Yea the F word is great. In this case the F word is Food. He's in a specially created restaurant/set and demonstrates things like meals everyone can create at home. They are celebs are non-celebs in the restaurant. It's somewhat simliar the BBC's Full on Food.

It's doing well for NBC? That's pretty interesting, considering it airs on Fox. :)

Some new blog called Parallel Universe has caught Ramsay's foul-mouthed monologues perfectly. Seems to be some kind of parody site, but it's worth it for the concentration of exuberant invective. (Warning for strong language) See:
