This Wednesday marks the last day that Charles Gibson will co-host Good Morning America. He's not going very far of course: just to the evening anchor chair at the same network. And, this is his second send-off from GMA. Gibson was on GMA for ten years until he left in 1998. Nine months later, he returned to the morning anchor desk and has been there ever since.Wednesday's farewell episode for Gibson will include special guests Joan Lunden and David Hartman. But, don't expect it to be anything like the tearful love-fest when rival Katie Couric left Today.

I don't think he's the best host or newsman but I'm happy for him. A big change in his status since they booted him off GMA in 1998.
I wonder how long he'll stay as anchor? I mean, he's about the same age as when Tom Brokaw retired from the nightly news chair a year ago...Seems like ABC is desperate in this area.
