Yesterday on AdJab, I complained that Kelly Clarkson's catchy new song for Ford's "Bold Moves" campaign, "Go", was infiltrating my brain and settling in like a mooching brother-in-law. I thought I could get rid of it by listening to the sound of brick being scraped by nail or any Yoko Ono CD. But then kindly commenter Steve passed along a link to a new page on the Ford web site where you can listen to a stream of the full version of the song. (Just go here and click "Go").Against my better judgement, I went over and clicked on the stream. The damn song is even catchier than I thought. Now it's in my head for-freakin-ever. Thanks, Steve, wherever you are. I'll see you in hell.

I went to the site and hit the "Listen" button and the whole time there's this little video looping on the left of Kelly just staring at me. It's seriously creeping me out! Stop it Kelly, you win the stare off!

Whew. I've been waiting to hear the full version ever since I first heard it on the commercial. It's too bad I would think "Ford" when I hear the song, but I think in time that association will go away.
And yes the looping Kelly stare contest in the side is weirdly creepy. It helps that I really like her. Heh.

I love Go by Kelly Clarkson that they play in the Ford commercials. It's very rock driven and the lead guitars kick hard! I don't know why she doesn't put it out as a single--this way, it can tie us up until her next album in 2007. But maybe Ford has the rights to the song. This song proves that Kelly's a true star in her own right!
