If you feel like wasting some time at work today, might want to check out this Lost link. It brings you to an image of the island, and with some careful studying, you can pull out some hidden images. Once you crack all eight, you get treated to a deleted scene from early in season two. I'm assuming this is part of that whole Lost Experience thing that's been going on.
Of course, if you're lazy, I've listed the eight passwords after the jump along with a description of the deleted scene.
[Thanks to James for sending this to us!]
The eight passwords are:
- gun
- horse
- Sun
- Jack
- Locke
- others
- Sayid
- Vincent
The scene isn't anything special. It's a conversation between Libby and Sayid, when Sayid was tied to a tree following Shannon's death. It was nothing revealing at all, but it kept me occupied for half an hour. Anyone think there's more importance to this scene that I'm missing out on?

Libby calls Ana-Lucia a good person. That's a buzz word the others use. perhaps it was significant that way. The faux Henry gale implied there was a debate among the Others as to whether she was good or bad. This scene perhap implicates Libby amongst them and that debate.

Good call, Jamie... It's also possible that the writers noticed this and deleted the scene for precisely that reason to avoid confusion. One way or another, next season is going to be very interesting.

So, wait, the UK is getting their hands on S2 on DVD first? Even if it's only half, that's still a raw deal for us Americans. Thank god I download these things too...

This is the worst "password" protection I've ever seen. When it comes up and prompts you for the codewords, just right-click on the picture and select "Play" from the Flash menu. The scene plays immediately.

I noticed it said "Season Two, Part One" on the DVD box after you complete the puzzle. What's up with that?

An extra tidbit - if you type the Numbers, "4815162342", into the entry bar and hit Execute, the symbols (hieroglyphs?) below will flip to 108 - the sum - exactly as they do in the series.

Instead of typing 'Vincent' as one of the codes you can also use the word 'dog'.

Well, well, well...
Although it isn't part of TLE, it's yet to be confirmed in-game by Speaker and it will probably be confirmed as not in-game.
But this does bring up some interesting issues...is Libby an Other?
Maybe 'Libby' is a corruption of 'Liddy', as in Liddy Wales, the only executive on the formerly open Hanso Foundation wbesite with no photo....hmmMMmmMMmm

This isn't a deleted scene. It was in the show.

Nope, this scene definitely wasn't in the show. It's a deleted scene from the episode "Collision." (2x08)

I'm wondering if the scene was deleted because Sayid appeared to miss one of his lines ("That's ridiculous").

Dianne,
He didn't miss his line... The point of the pause is specifically to emphasize the fact that he would kill Ana Lucia, if given the chance at the time.

If you look when Libby says "You’re supposed to say that's ridiculous" something small flies behind her, it's going too fast and too 'side ways' to be a leaf and even if it was. I don't see why they used that shot if you had something like that drawing your eye from her unless they wanted it. It would have been cut out in editting or put in there?

Libby & Ana Lucia were both others. Now they are dead.
Maybe the others should rethink what they're doing.
Although they won't, because the others/dharma etc. are in the kind of business where they themselves are tricked into risking their lives for other people's gains. Can you guess what that business is?
