Sometimes the networks get it exactly wrong (Eyes!), and other times, they get it exactly right.CBS has pulled Tuesday Night Book Club after only two episodes. The show was really low-rated, and CBS hasn't announced whether or not the final six eps will be shown or not. Which is a really bad sign, because usually when there are remaining episodes of a canceled show, they'll burn them off during the summer. But CBS isn't even planning on doing that.
My suggestion? Go read a book instead, in the show's honor.

They should just put the 6 episodes online for free like NBC did with "The Book of Daniel." That way, the 2 people who want to see the show aren't disappointed.

I actually did enjoy this show and I cannot understand why reruns of 48 Hours Mystery would pull more viewers than a show you've already invested money in. This is the worst example of ratings logic I have witnessed. Please tell me how I can view the last six episodes!

Boo CBS. hand it over to a network that will show it. stay with your old people shows. ratings would have been up this week, due to me talking about it so much. an evening soap for men and women. think about it.

I really enjoyed the show. Sure the women seemed a little over done and maybe too "perfect" looking, but it honestly conveyed some real issues that affect tons of people. Maybe if they used more realistic women instead of women that look like they could be hollywood stars it could have worked a little better. But i agree, that CBD should air the remaining episodes. People might get hooked as the series continues.

I was looking forward to watch that show. I thought It was a very good show. Just because of low rating does not mean the people who were watching it does not what to see the rest. I am very unhappy about this. I telling you I am about to quite watch this channel all together. I am so tired of watching reruns that is why I was watching the book club. I think it was a very good show. I would even buy the last 6 show to finish watching.

I was really enjoying the Tuesday Night Book Club! Yes, maybe a little bit of a spin off of the real Desperate Housewives... but I think that show is a spin off of Sex in the City... just a little more "main stream" and depth. I would at least like to see the rest of the seasons episodes... heck, schedule them all during the same night... at least show them... I honestly would rather see a little "real" life in TV... Women with real problems... All in all, I think it's a pretty therapeudic show!
I was so disappointed when I realized it wasn't airing tonight!

I love the new show Tuesday Night Book Club. It is very real, dealing with today's issues that so many women could relate to. I hope CBS will change their minds and continue to run the show, at least the six remaining episodes.

I am really disappointed if they decide not to air the rest of the episodes. I sat down tonight at 10 pm all ready to watch the show, and found 48 hours on instead. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I immediately came online to find out why. CBS...please bring it back!! It's hard to start watching something and then not knowing how things are going to end.

Perhaps CBS is the problem? They seem to have difficulty in learning what people want and don't want. Who cares about the stupid rating's? We are urged to teach our children that once we start something, we finish it! Even if, after we start it, we don't like how its turning out! I think this network has a lot to learn! This is NOT the first show they've teased people with... I'm sick of getting hooked and then finding it gone! It;s bad enough that no matter what the network, everyone is stuck watching re-runs all summer! If they don't bring it back, they can forget me as a viewer of ANY of their shows, new or not! This will be the last time they hook me just to drop the show!
