Yup, the host of MSNBC's The Abrams Report is the new head of the cable news outlet, replacing Rich Kaplan, who recently resigned.Abrams official title is "general manager," whereas Kaplan's title was "president," but it's basically the same gig. Abrams won't host his show anymore, but he'll still be MSNBC's chief legal correspondent.
Does this mean that everyone who works there moves up a notch, and Rita Cosby is now Chief Financial Officer?

I like Chris Mathews and Joe Scarbrough. These guys are smart, sharp and ask good questions.
I think the Keith Olbermann is the worst show on MSNBC and I find Rita Cosby to be a tad annoying as well (Rita's show is already gone). If Dan dropped Keith and put in someone new at 8:00pm and did a late night news show (ala CNN's 360) for one or two hours starting at 10:00pm that would round out the networks evenings.
But for goodness sake get ride of Olbermann. He's such a hack and to be honest I find my self laughing at him when I switch over from CNN or Fox during a commerical.
