Well, we heard about Steven Spielberg contacting her, and now apparently Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have also taken a shine to American Idol loser Katherine McPhee. Scuttlebutt in the gossip rags has it that McPhee met Holmes at the Church of Scientology in Los Angeles, and the two hit it off, swapping tips on how to smile and look cute, or whatever the hell they talked about. Anyway, the (in)famous Hollywood couple known as TomKat have apparently asked McPhee to perform at their wedding. The song she'll be singing is "Garblax, Tyranical One-Eyed Ruler of the Gleeferslock Galaxy." Or possibly, "You Light Up My Life." It's often hard to tell with this kind of ceremonies. McPhee to sing at TomKat's wedding?

I personally like Katherine over Taylor. With that said, I would be dissapointed in her if she falls into the Scientology lake 'o crap, and especially if she starts hanging out with the Cruise's.

I read these blogs from time to time and never really respond, but I couldn't help but saying a few things to this one. First of all, Katherine is nothing but a snob. I'll give credit where credit is due, she is pretty and she does have a good voice but her rudeness and her "i'm all that" attitude is a bit over the top. I think Idol VERY quickly went to her head and she maybe have claimed not to care that she didn't win, but even McPhee fans have to admit that's a bunch of McCrap. Everytime the judges said something negative she had one excuse or another as to why she did poorly. She was rude to claim that she didn't do well on the song Clive Davis picked because HE picked the song, not her, is a prime example. On Larry King Live, she admitted to dating a guy who was a Scientologist but they are no longer together. You can't tell me she doesn't still have SOME involvment in it, or TomKat wouldn't be supposedly asking her to sing at their wedding. Unless of course, they want to get her back into that "cult". She sat there on Larry King live as though she was better than everyone else. She is THE most ungrateful Idol contestant I have ever seen. As long as she just stands there and doesn't have to move, she does okay, but as most people saw, when she tried running around the stage during the week they sang the Elvis songs, she made a complete McFool of herself as she didn't have the stamina she needed to try and sing and dance to Hound Dog/All Shook UP and I have no doubt Elvis was turning in his grave. McPhee needs to get a McLife. The best thing to happen to American Idol was for Taylor to win. He's humble, appreciative and thankful for every vote he got and most certainly deserved. Who cares if TomKat may have asked her to sing at their wedding if and when that happens, that's not something I would be too quick to brag about. McPhee needs to be taken down a notch or two, but then again, I think that her home town of Sherman Oaks did just that when she didn't get near the welcome and fan fare that Taylor and Elliott got and deserved.

I would not hold my breath waiting for the wedding. I do not think it will happen. This would not be a career move. Tom's popularity has gone down lately with all his crazy actions.
