Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the actor who played the love of Izzie's life on Grey's Anatomy, just landed a role in a new drama slated for ABC. The untitled program is another Shonda Rhimes creation (as is Grey's) and it's about a group of female journalists, so I imagine Morgan has a supporting role. This may or may not be comforting news to all you Grey's Anatomy fans who had your hearts broken, as did Izzie, when Morgan died in the season finale. He also has recurring roles on Supernatural and Weeds.

I hate to say it, but hopefully the new show is a little less estrogen-soaked than Grey's. I was really digging the show for a while, and it used to be pretty easy to ignore some of the overly "THIS SHOW WAS WRITTEN BY A WOMAN" stuff, but it's really started to get out of control. It's one thing to have a cast of strong female characters, and it's something else entirely to turn your show into something that looks like it came off the desk of an angsty sweet-16 chick who got stiffed at the high school dance.

I love Greys Anatomy and I wish they had not killed Izzy boyfriend. I wanted this to play out and see where it would go. I really do like Mereidth and McDreamy together but I dont like them being cheaters and adultrest. Let him divorce or let them just carry the torch and become good friends. Love everything else like it is.
cant wait til next season

I enjoy watching the characters and the storyline evolve. However, I do not require the blatant sex scenes, suggestion is so much better. The relationships and each characterization are what I look for in a show.

I find it funny that of all the things that were wrong with the finale, people are getting all huffy over seeing Meredith's panties. In fact, I thought that was one of the better parts of the finale because it left no "well, did they just hook up or go all the way" crap without really spending too much time on the scene.

Is this pilot the show about female war correspondents?
I am pretty sure I read a while back that Shonda created this show before she did Grey's Anatomy, but the original pilot was never picked up.
So, obviously ABC is trying to ride the Shonda bandwagon...
