MTV has signed on to a reality show about dancers, and it's executive produced by Jennifer Lopez. Called Moves, the show is described as "The Real World meets Solid Gold". It chronicles the trials and tribulations of aspiring dancers, as they audition in the tough world of professional dance. Lopez reportedly had a hand in selecting the contestants and will even make a cameo or two in the show. You may recall that J.Lo started out as a dancer on the sketch-comeedy show, In Living Color, before her big break in the movie, Selena. MTV has ordered eight episodes of Moves. They hit the air this winter.

I, for one, am excited. I love J-Lo. She's taking strides in trying to keep herself out of the limelight and picking roles that will challenge her (Bordertown & El Cantante). I wish her great success.
