Seems like a somewhat decent lineup. Mind you, I can only see myself watching Veronica Mars and Everybody Hates Chris, but it does seem like a good theme they've got going on. Well, apart from the wrestling, but I guess white trash can help pay the bills.
Still comes as a bit of a shock to see Reba cancelled, especially as it was supposedly an expensive axing. I would have thought they would have sold it to that country music channel or something like that.

Happy to see Smallville remain. Sad to see Charmed go :( and also sad not to see any mention about the Aquaman spin-off (from Smallville) that was being developed by WB.

The Hollywood Reporter says Reba will return mid-season for a 13 episode run.
As for picking up Invasion...I'd say not a chance...

White trash? Smackdown is regularly in the top 10 English-language shows watched by Hispanics... On a night where nothing does well, I'd say that was a smart move.

I dont see why they just cant stay 2 networks and keep most everything the same. Then everyone is happy, or most everyone, and most can continue to watch their shows. I liked the lightness of the comedies on fri night on the wb, and now there all gone. I hate to get into a season and then the "guys upstairs" always feel the need to change everything for the next season just as you get used to what time and day everything is on.

It's all about Money. It cost to run a show around a million dollars an episode, and that not even adding in many of the cast's salaries! Both the WB and UPN just didn't have the money to keep up with the other networks, hell even NBC is having trouble(and before that was a Pre-Lost/Housewife ABC) which is why they have a game show on there schedule TWICE a week, it's cheap and a ratings hit, but we all know where that lead ABC at first....
The is why the CW arrived, it has the funding of both Warner Bros and CBS Corps to actually keep these good, but not really successful shows on.
This is why 7th Heaven is coming back, not only is it a ratings hit, but they can afford the million and episode better then the WB on it's own could...
Hopefully the rating go up now that the WB and UPN aren't eating each other alive at the bottom, so shows like Veronica Mars can make it to syndication...
