ABC gave the greenlight to two new comedies, including Let's Rob Mick Jagger, which is a single-camera comedy about a janitor and his friends who plan to rob Mick Jagger. It's executive produced by David Letterman. The original plan for the show was to rob Jeff Goldblum, but he's already busy with NBC. Jagger just recently signed on to appear in several episodes of the show that is all about robbing him.ABC also picked up A Day in the Life, which has different views of a couple's wedding day. How are they going to get an entire season out of this premise? I dunno, either. The network also renewed What About Brian? for a second season.
And, part-improv/part-scripted comedy Sons & Daughters did not get renewed for a second season. Creator Fred Goss (interviewed earlier this year by Joel) confirms cancellation on his website.

"Let's Rob Mick Jagger" sounds like it could be funny.. but it'd be interesting if each season (should it be continued) is a different celebrity. So basically the series would be "Let's Rob..."
As for your comment about A Day In the Life - and how could a whole season be about a wedding? Well there was a question (a small question) about 24 when that started. And look how lovely that worked out! :)
Again, with this show.. a Day could always be each event - wedding, baby, anniversary, etc.
Any idea on who stars?

That Son's & Daughters looked like it would be funny... but I wasn't aware that it was on TV yet - which is probably a reason why it failed (not because I didn't watch it - but because they did a poor job of advertising it).

Sons and Daughters
Are you kidding canceling this show? It is one of the funniest shows on TV. Give it a chance! I taped every episode and watch them repeatedly! What a let down. Just a few great shows and you CANCEL?

What a bummer about Son's and Daughters, we watched it every week, it was so funny, it seems like it wasn't advertised enough, what are all the new good shows being cancelled?

Sons & Daughters is a great show, absolutely hilarious and real in its depiction of the somewhat dysfunctional family, and the improv is great as well. All the actors on the show had a great dynamic. It's a shame ABC is cancelling a show is didn't advertise near enough to air a show about Mick Jagger...oooh, now that's something I'll watch every week...not even interested.

Could very possibly be a hit. There are lots of Jagger fans out there. He has already made it to the top and its normal for some people to be negative toward people that are so sucessful. I SAY IT WILL BE A HIT.WE WILL SEE.
