(S01E21) Alright, now this is what I'm talking about. The entire hour of this episode was tense. Couldn't you feel it? It made the long season leading up to this point worth it. Heck, even some of the scenes with Nick and Veronica were worth watching. Well, the last scenes with Nick, at least. You know, I was actually a little surprised that Pope was so angry at Michael right from the start, though that was a little more realistic of a reaction. I had thought he'd at least try to talk Michael down, or maybe just cooperate. And if Michael had put Pope's line on a pay porn phone line, there's no way the secretary would've interrupted him; she'd be horrified and probably just leave. And hell, I'd find it damned funny.
I guess now we've got to wonder what T-Bag is going to do with those chains he snagged from the phych ward. One thing I can see happening is he'll run to the plane and handcuff himself to it, forcing them to take him along through to the end. Or maybe he'll just lock someone up in the woods in order to free up a seat.
Here's where I'm a little confused. The guy who shot Nick and his father ... was he the same guy who fell into that well many episodes back? The one we were to believe was that dead body? Maybe I nodded off during the Nick-Veronica scenes (like I sometimes can't help to do), but he looked familiar in that way to me. Even still, that was one intense scene. It's not often you see someone gunning people down so easily on TV without someone getting away somehow.
We've also seen that Michael now knows of Tweener's treachery, and he's doing all of this to settle his dues. Will he help again once he's on the outside, or will he really just walk off into the sunset?
So now Michael, C-Note, T-Bag and the Mexican Puerto Rican dude heard where "Westmoreland's" $5 millon is. Of course that sets us up for a race to find that money next season. You could see the look of pure greed in T-Bag's eyes when he heard about that. "Plenty to split" ... please.
Oh yeah, and now Haywire's one of the group. That'll be ... interesting.

Wow this was an AWESOME episode. I feel bad for the old timer. Prison Break sure knows how to make my heart go.

Oh and also to answer your question, the guy who shot Nick was not the guy who fell into the well. He was just another "agent" guy, He is dead now.

Prison break notes:
That was great! I really need to see this episode again!
Ha!, knew Manche wasn't going to make it from the minute he joined the team. I was betting on Sucre staying behind volunteerily, but Haywire escaping with everyone else surprised me. I'm actually surprised that so many made over the fence; but there's still 1 more episode, so who knows.
I was hoping Veronica would get killed off (just because she adds nil to the show) or at least go out fighting; But killing off Nick AND his father caught me off guard. Now who's going to be looking out for LJ??(who has somehow been forgotten by the writers; perhaps a subplot for Seeason 2?)
Bellick soooooo going to hunt each of them down.
Michael at the keypad: was I the only one thinking of permutations at that scene?
Lots of tense moments. However, this is probably the one episode where almost everything went according to plan!
Sad to see Westmoreland go, but nice set-up for next season.

Mexican dude?! Sheesh, you'd think with a blog just for television you could name main characters.
Oh by the way...it's Sucre. And Hispanic would have been more PC I suppose, he could have been born in America.

Here's what I?m thinking...
If you remember correctly, one of the spoilers for the last episode specifically mentioned somebody will lose a limb. My guess is that, T-Bag will handcuff someone to something, and Michael will use the knife he threatened the pope with to but their hand or arm off. I'm sure John didn't want T-Bag going anyway, so he'll no doubt either kill T-Bag or find a way to leave him behind.
A few unanswered questions as well. What exactly did that Mexican guy write on the piece of paper he handed to Michael, as seen in 1x16 Brother's Keeper. Also, who's grave was Michael digging up, which was also seen in Brother's Keeper, right after the Mexican guy handed Michael the paper? It could possibly be Terrence Stedman, but if he did find any evidence, it would be inadmissible.
Next week is an episode I will certainly be looking forward to!

Actually, if you pause through the scenes from the next show it's clear that T-Bag handcuffs himself to Michael...If I were him I'd handcuff myself to Abruzzi, after getting through the walls he has all the power.
Haywire probably won't be apart of the team for long every time I paused through the scenes from next week I
never saw Haywire in one frame, and I did read somewhere that there would be 6 people that would be successful and Haywire makes 7.
By the way, the guy who shot Nick was not another "agent guy" he was working for Abruzzi.

Wow! Not only do you not remember the name of a main character, but you refer to him as the "Mexican dude" (isn't he Puerto Rican? there is a difference, you know).

I'm pretty sure when he's referring to, "the Mexican dude" it's not Sucre he's talking about because Sucre wasn't in the room when westmorland was talking about the money. He was referring to the burly man who consiquently broke the rope that they were climbing over and go caught.

Manche, Sucre's cousin and the fatty who broke the bar with Michael on it, was in the room when Charles spilled the beans. Since he's still at FR, I doubt he'll be hunting for the money. This reminds me of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" where all these people are trying to find the money underneath the palm trees.
Yeah, and T-Bag is sooooooooo not going to share.
The guy who shot Nick was the same one Nick spoke to in the phone store.
I wonder what Sara will think when she realizes she not only helped Michael and Lincoln escape but also Abruzzi, T-Bag, Sucre, Tweener, Haywire, C-Note...I think that's it.
I couldn't believe that Michael hit Pope over the head. He's racking up some serious time for when/if he gets caught.
Loved Tweener punching Bellick. I'm surprised T-Bag didn't gut Bellick.

guys guys ... I wasn't talking about Sucre. Of course I know who Sucre is. Was he there listening to D.B. Cooper telling Michael about the money? No. It was the fat Puerto Rican dude (yes, I said Mexican and I'll fix that). Hell, I don't remember his name, do you?

I missed the first five minutes... What does Michael get Pope to do? I think Stacy Keach is awesome. Anyone remember him in Titus? Also, why was Linc in the medical ward?
Yeah the "mexican" was Sucre's cousin. Sucks for him. Didn't we find out that Abruzzi can only take 2-3 guys with him (as per seats on the plane)? I think Abruzzi will find another way to get Michael to spill the beans about Fibonacci... but I'm wondering if Michael actually knows Fibonacci or if he just did his homework and knew how to bargain with (arguably) the most powerful inmate at Fox River.

Chris,
Michael got Pope to tell Mack, when Mack radioed saying he'd found Bellick's car in the parking lot, that Bellick had called and had walked into town. Michael also had Pope transfer Linc to the infirmary. Michael apologized and then tied Pope to a chair, gagged him, and hit him over the head with a radio. Michael then called the Laugh Line, left the office, and told the secretary that Pope was on a conference call and didn't want to be disturbed. The secretary then told Michael that despite Pope being gruff at time, he really liked Michael. Michael went back to his cell and awaited 7:00 p.m.

I was surprised Manche fit through the hole in Michael's cell.
I think Michael knows where Fib is. Either that or he's got a great poker face.

Cris W, Abruzzi's leverage was supposed to be Veronica, but, that's not the case since Nick let her go. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out, sometime in 2008 at the rate this season went.
