I don't know how many of you out there are fans of Deal or No Deal, but TV Filter has an insightful interview with Thorpe Schoenle, who is apparently the show's biggest winner so far. Now, usually interviews with game show or reality TV contestants aren't that interesting, but it just so happens that Raoul, who conducted the e-mail exchange with Schoenle, is actually a close friend, so it's less like reading an interview and more like eavesdropping on someone telling their friend all about being on this cool new game show. Hello, my name is Pedro, and I remember a long time ago I was watching your show and I thought I saw the highest amount that could be won was a 2 million dollar suitcase. I thought I saw a 1 million dollar suitcase and a 2 million dollar suitcase. However, my friends tell me I am incorrect, and the highest amount that could be won was always 1 million dollars. So I am wondering if you could help me and answer my question. Was there ever a 2 million dollar suitcase? Thank you for your time.
