This is funny. In the closing credits for Mission: Impossible 3, there is a "thank you" to the Hanso Foundation, a wink from director J.J. Abrams towards his TV hit Lost. The reviews for the film so far, including the one above, say that this film is the most like the television show on which it is based, which I think is a great thing. I loved the first flick, but the second one was rather lousy.

I went to a prescreening of MI3 this past Tuesday and I have to say.....This was a great movie. I wasn't looking forward to it so much than when the first MI came out years ago. Phillip Seymour Hoffman stole the scene everytime he was onscreen. Good story and very nice action sequences. Hats off to JJ Abrams for keeping the tight tension and emotion rollercoaster intact in his cinematic vision as is true in his television one.

I loved the film too,
the fact that it resembled Alias so much, was great.
