Man, these actors
from The Sopranos just can't stay out of trouble. In real life, I mean. Now, two more members of the cast have
had separate run-ins with the law. John Ventimiglia, who plays chef Artie Bucco, is charged with drunk driving and drug
possession. Officers pulled him over as he was weaving in and out of traffic in Brooklyn. He had a blood-alcohol level
of .12 (legal limit is .08) and a bag with cocaine residue. He was arraigned yesterday, and today his attorney released
a statement saying that Ventimiglia "feels terrible and embarrassed."Meanwhile in Queens, actor Louis Gross, who plays bodyguard Perry Annunziata, is charged with criminal mischief for
allegedly breaking into a woman's apartment. In true mobster fashion, Gross says, "I don't know nothing." Is
he talking about the crime or himself?
CNN was kind enough to make a list
of the other Sopranos actors who've been arrested:
- Lillo Brancato Jr. is charged with killing an off-duty police officer during a robbery.
- Vincent Pastore, who plays Sal Bompensiero, pleaded guilty last year to abusing his girlfriend.
- Robert Iler, who plays Anthony Soprano Jr., is on three years' probation after pleading guilty to mugging two youngsters and stealing $40 from them.

Where are all the Italians that complained about stereotyping Italians in the Sopranos? This is real life fact. Would love to hear what they have to say now.

I am of Italian Descent and proud of it. Just because the Sopranos talk about mobsters doesn't mean all Italians should be stereotyped that way. There are mobsters in every nationality. What about the Italians who fight crime such as Rudy Giuliani? So enough comments on Italian mobsters. It is just a well written TV show showing the italian mob which is rapidly declining to make way for the others, i.e. Mexican, Colombian, Russian and the oldest of all - the Chinese.

Um, if you couldn't stereotype Italians, there wouldn't even BE a Sopranos show.

When will we see the FIRST TV show or movie that illustrates the tremendous contributions that Italians have made to the worlds of art, science, music, religion, sculpture, exploration, etc., etc. Need I go on? By the way, the answer is NEVER!

Paul, I think you need to turn to the Discovery Channel for those things...HBO actually like to air shows that people will WATCH. And lighten up...it doesn't portray ALL Italians in a bad light, just a select group of them.
