Nikki Finke at the L.A. Weekly investigates the new CW
Network and the control that CBS President and CEO Les Moonves has over the new combo of UPN and the WB. Supposedly, every single programming decision and every single business decision has to go through Moonves first, as if he has "sole custody" of the network, according to Finke. She says that under Moonves, Charmed will be gone, 7th Heaven will be back, and shows like Pepper Dennis, Everwood, One Tree Hill, and The Bedford Diaries are on the fence.

Uhm, why is that clown getting so much clout? He certainly did not turn around UPN! Not to mention that bonehead meritless lawsuit against Howard Stern...
Perhaps the guy should be the cellmate of Bernie Ebbers.

i am sad to hear that charmed will no longer be on the air. i found this to be a good show and it has been a show that my family have all sat down to watch together. sadly thery are not other shows that we all enjoy watching as a family. Charmed has had apositive influnce on my girls, showing them that women can be intellegent, inovative and beautiful. i will not be watching the new channel as i have not found any other shows that i watch.
