Ah, man. I thought I'd be
really glad to see Kellie go, but she's so sweet and innocent that I felt really bad for her when she got voted off.
But, America doesn't need any more dumb blonde singers (although, Britney doesn't seem to be doing much lately, so
maybe there is an opening). Hopefully Kellie gets some professional help with her voice, because she was the amateur of
amateurs in this bunch of six. When Ryan split the final six into three groups of two, we learned that Chris and Katherine received the most votes this week. I wouldn't be surprised if those two battled it out in the final two. I think they're evenly matched-- with personality and vocal ability. Next week, Taylor, Elliott, and Paris are all in extreme danger of being sent home.
On a side note, wasn't Andrea Bocelli spectacular? The man's voice is like butter.

OMG!!! I know! I was totally thinking this one would be painless! But it makes me sad somehow. I dunno. I found this on Digg. It's Kellie's future jobs now that she's gotten the boot. I miss her already.

Who sings the song that is played over the highlight clips that they show after someone is voted off? "You had a bad day . . ."

Yeah, I could live with a Kat/Chris showdown in the final 2. Although Kat in that dress Tuesday night made had a fine-looking final two herself.
I'm sure Pickler has a bright future on CMT or if they do "Hee Haw, the Next Generation"
I know a lot of the ladies like Chris, and he certainly can sing. But he reminds me of that wanna-be bookie on Seinfeld, where Jerry broke his thumbs in the car trunk. I say McPhee takes it.

Seriously, you have to be missing something if you don't think Elliott qualifies to make the finals. It's sad that American looks at what someone has to offer on the outside, instead of the inside. Elliott has great vocal talent, and what's more important, he's a decent soul....what a gentelman! I personally like Chris best, and hope he wins, but Elliott should outlast Katherine, Taylor and Paris for sure!!

Yes, it was kind of sad, anyone with a heart would agree, BUT it was time for her to go, no doubt! Do you mean Dolly Parton and her theme park, Dollywood??

I agree with the poster above who said Kellie could be a smash hit for Dolly at Dollywood. Sh has the same country flare and charm that is possesed by lovelt Dolly. I am pulling for Mr Hicks to win it all. Hes not your typical Pop/Rocker we see everyday. This guy is amazingly talented and could offer something new and refreshing to the music industry.

I totally see Kelli in Dollywood. She's got Dolly's personality and self effacing humor. I think she needed to go but she'll do just fine.

Aw come on, stop being so mean! Kellie was terrific when she auditioned, that's why she made it this far in the first place. So she had a couple of bad performances, that's too bad, but don't knock her and stop calling her names! Personally I think Taylor is good enough to win. I HATE Chris, don't care too much for Katherine (what's the deal with her anyway? I think she needs to cover them "things" up a little better, THAT'S why her Dad was crying.) No matter how much they try they can't make Elliot presentable (and they are REALLY trying), nope, give it up already. Paris is good, but not that great, gotta go next I'd say. But Taylor has everything. TALENT, LOOKS, and more TALENT, and most importantly PERSONALITY! Okay, that's my opinion for this week. GO TAYLOR!!

I love Chris, and he may win this thing but his album would be too raucous for my taste. I mean the one after the AI contract album. Taylor is my cup of tea...

Bye-bye Pickler, boo hoo I'm gonna miss ya. Despite what all your many critics say you can probably sing some country, sashay around and do OK. And I'm glad I didn't put my money down a few weeks ago on the 800-1 odds of Kellie and Kat being the final two -- but I sure thought about it.
The sharply divided opinions on Elliot continue to be interesting. Some folks just love this guy. Just as many others can't stand him, and I'm in that group. What a slug.
I'm still in Kat's corner, will be rooting for her to win and am looking forward to her next performance. But not looking forward to hearing Chris and Taylor again, been there done that, nothing new to see, nothing compelling to get excited about. But they have their supporters so I guess Paris is on the bubble.

Thank God Kellie is gone! Justice has finally been served for all! I guess people have finally come to their senses. She will do great singing at local bars & state & county fairs. On the last song she "tried" to sing, she has that June Carter Cash sound - without June's smarts though. I say the next to go is Paris or Elliot, depending on next week's performances. Both of them are on the fence.

I Think the bet should be on Paris then Elliot Then my favorite, Taylor, then the winner will be Chris with Katharine at a very close second.
