What if 7th Heaven gets another season?

So the news is that The WB's
7th
Heaven has been
asked
to come back for another year when the new CW network launches. But where can they possibly go with the storylines?
They've done sex and drugs and religion and school violence and sex and pregnancies and gangs and sex and domestic
issues and everything else (sex). So what can they do to get people to come back?
- Satan takes
over the city, and Rev. Camden must battle for the soul of everyone in Glen Oak (cross-over episode with
Supernatural?)
- In a very special episode, the Camden family stages an intervention with Matt, to
get him to leave What About Brian? and come back to the show.
- The family finds out that
Ruthie is a robot.

Wow talk about a serious immaturely-written article. 7th Heaven would not be the first show, by any means, to run 11 seasons. Where are the negative articles on those shows???
There are plenty of stories that 7th Heaven could do, and only recently have they tackled sex. The writer clearly hasn't watched the show.
I LOVE 7TH HEAVEN

My son and I have watched this show together since he was about 10 years old (1998). He was the one that found it and asked me to watch 7th Heaven with him. Since then we've watched it together. This show was an amazing tool for us to discuss different subjects that were important to both of us. He asked informed questions that I was more than happy to answer. We are both better because of this great show.
He's now almost 18. Our relationship is wonderful. We can talk about anything or everything since we have an open communication network going on.
PLEASE keep it going. There is so much more Annie, Eric and crew has to say to all of us. Great writing and (many, not all) acting.
I would love to see the original cast come together. Also cameos of their parents. I know some can't, but
past films of them?

I have 6 children of my own. Our family absolutely loves this show. It is amazing how they always come up with very imprtant yet realistic episodes. What other show truly offers this? My heart saddens at the very thought of this show ending.

7th Heaven is not or ever will suck, Because life does go on, and that is what it is all about. The true facts of life and how very real life is. I cannot imagine, nor could I fathom the idea of it ever running out of New, Fresh Ideas. Another season? Bring it on!

I saw "Eric" on Ellen". She asked him if "7th Heaven" was ending. He said he didn't want it to. He replied to Ellen's question, "Call your Congress person in your area". Do whatever you have to do to keep the Camdens going!!!
PLEASE, y'all. Keep this show on TV.

My family has also watched this show for years. And how do they repay us for our loyalty? Make the focus of the last episodes an freakin cookie!!!! The last two shows have been more infomercials for Oreos than anything else!!!
If this is how the show will be from now on, cancel it and leave room for Everwood!!!!

7th Heaven has got to be one of the worst family shows ever broadcast. The lessons that show teaches--about women's inability to be anything but shrews or whores, about jumping into marriages after a single date just because it's the only way you know to get laid, about paranoid snooping on other family members, about parents' seriously unhealthy obsessions with their children's sexual lives (seriously--what the hell kinda family wants to take everyone for a special dinner to celebrate a daughter's first menstruation??)---are so twisted and so very, very far from a true Christian (or even moral) message, that I have to watch it weekly just to see to what new depth it will sink.
It is just unthinkably horrible.
And that it is actually being asked to return from the dead for another season is only proof that there isn't actually a God at all.

A seasonal story arc that explains how the Camden parents end up in the Star Trek universe... Hey, we are talking about the CW Network, the co-mingling of the WB and UPN. It could happen! :)

Let's just admit the fact that for better or for worse "7th Heaven" is the highest rated show that either UPN or The WB has and the network weasels at the newly merged CW would be fools if they didn't at least consider the possibility of keeping it on the air. It's sound business.

7th Heaven is one of the shows you can count on to be entertaining and portray wonderful family values that our world today sorely lacks. Why can't they keep a show like this on the air and remove some of the tasteless shows that go on and on. People need shows like this to model relationships that are kind and loving and still have fun without jumping into bed with everyone, being stupid, swearing, criticizing everyone, etc.
Please keep 7th Heaven on the air!!!

I have been watching this show for years now and I still love it. Its a shame to get rid of it. All the good wholesome shows are being thrown out the window, instead shows that glorify sex, money, drugs, ect fill the slots. Where is tv going? I like the fact that i can watch this show with my family, its something that can bring us together. It has good moral settings, valuable lessons, and characters we have all grown to love. Give it a little longer. I would like to see how Ruthie ends up.

I'm not going to lie...when the show started I was 14, and I watched the show simply to make fun of the overly-moral storylines. However, now I'm 24 and truly enjoy watching the show. I feel that with all the junk on tv today, this is one of the FEW things worth watching. So, congrats to 7th Heaven on 10 years...and Thanks.

I've read a number of posts.I am thrilled at the idea that the Camden's may be back. Those who don't like the show because they don't think its realistic I hope can see past the corniness of some topics and see the intent to provide a show with strong family values. Every family has different values and this is just one view of one type of family--but there are many families who share the same values as the Camdens. I was 16 when the series started and I've watched the Camdens all grow up. I admit that I thought the storylines in the beginning were a little corny. I consider myself a christian and it was difficult to watch the moral issues be addressed in such a rose colored fashioned. But every show has their growing pains and for the majority they have really found a dynamic that works. Ok, so the menstration dinner was a little out there---however sadly my crazy parents did the same thing...so if you thought it was nuts like me--just be glad your parents didn't do that with you! Years of therapy! :-) All in all, this show has provided a wonderful glimps into a loving christian family--who isn't perfect...but most importantly NEVER expected anyone else to be. There glips may be a bit hollywood but the show's producers have taken great care to develop unique characters who could be apart of any christian family. They showed the power of a family who loved in ways that at times were intrusive but always sincere and nonjudgemental.
I'm thrilled and hope the rumors are true. I will support this show! To illustrate the influence this show has had on my own family now as an adult--last year we had our first child--a little boy. His name is Camden! People have name their children after crazier things and I make no appologies. :-)

Hi Everyone, I have been counting the episodes remaining since November when the WB announced that this was the last season, and I broke down completely at the very last episode... I am 15, and I have watched this show since 1998, and I can honestly say that the Camdens have been a BIG part of my life ever since, and now that its over I dont know what I will do. I am also upset that they ended it now, since the past 2 seasons have been AWSOME! Season 7 sucked, but just as it started getting awsome again, they end it... and honestly, money shouldnt be an issue here, the actors should be ok with a decrease in pay, they are all rich anyway... In Conclusion, someone do whatever it takes to keep this show running, I love it, and will continue watching it on ABC family.
If this show doesnt continue, I wanna thank everyone for the good work that was put into the show up until the very last episode.

I think it would be great if 7th Heaven came back for another season. First of all, I just got finished watching the series finale and I would love if I knew what that cliffhanger was all about. It was a good season finale, but I wasn't satisfied with it as a series finale.
I have watched this show off and on for ten years. For a time I thought it was kind of cheesy, but when I started watching something else in it's place, I realized that it was a lot closer to my life than any other show I could watch. It had the values I appreciate in life and tv. I could watch it with my family without being embarassed. It made me laugh but also think and be confronted with issues. I think the show teaches people a lot and I would be thrilled to watch another season.
Bring 7th Heaven back, because It is definitely better than the filth that could be put in it's place. I would be thrilled to watch it again because it portrays the values that I think we all should try to portray, and it's sad how rare that is on tv.
