TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has the scoop. NBC isn't confirming yet, but
Ausiello reports that Scrubs will indeed see a 6th season. As for 7th Heaven, he's also reporting that this will be one of the shows that survives the move to The CW (are they really going to still use that name?)
That's great. Now we'll able to see Ruthie become a grandmother.

7th Heaven is renewed? The WB has constantly been advertising, "Catch the last 4 episodes of 7th Heaven."

Ausiello is clearly just tormenting us. What does it matter if the WB isn't using "season finale" in their promos as long as they're saying, "say goodbye to the Camden family--last episodes ever"? Kiddo, if it walks like a duck and it talks like a duck...
Now don't scare us like that ever again.
Besides--the only show I want to hear about coming to the CW is "Veronica Mars," and I want to hear about it SOON.

NBC has a recent track record of hating great shows. Remember Third Watch?

My teenage kids love 7th Heaven. One of the few clean shows on the air that promote family. I like the show, but they need to get it back on track and need to pull in some better acting. However,it is one of the few shows that we watch as a family and after all these years, we would miss it if it were gone. I hope the rumor is true.

okay, Scrubs is excellant television and NBC would be stupid not to pick up such a great show for another season.
7th heaven on the other hand....eh.
that show jumped the shark so many seasons ago its not even funny. its tired. the WB, or rather 'the CW', just needs to put it to rest.
