I have watched Alias since the first season. The characters with their extensive relationships and traumatic recoveries have kept me watching. I like that Sydney is a strong, intelligent, independent female but clearly is very open to a personal life and subject to be hurt and betrayed. The realtionship between Sydney and Jack is one that has grown into a true father/daughter relationship which normally we don't see on primetime t.v. I will miss this show with all its excitement, twists, drama, romance, (hello, Vaughn) and intense intelligent scenarios that make you think while you are watching the plots unfold. I'm hoping that the series ends with closure for Sydney in terms of her relationship with Irina and Vaughn. I hope Irina has been loyal to her daughter when it is all said and done. I would also like Sloane to finally "really" be the good guy. I've always had a soft spot for him and had great sympathy even though he has been quite evil. I am anxiously awaiting the finale and look forward to closure.

Seasons 1 & 2 were excellent but let's face it, everything since has been pretty much treading water. These last seasons could easily have been condensed into 1 with no problem. It's the one show where I wish they had just decided there would be 3 seasons, built the story around that and ended it. The same potentially goes for Lost.

I have also watched the show from the beginning and will be sad to see it go. It's one of the only shows that I make sure I don't miss. It never fails to amaze me how much they fit into one episode. Personally I wish Alias was staying and Lost was going, I feel like I'm watching a modern Gilligan's Island without the corny comedy. What fun is that?

I really caught onto the show int he third season and then immediately went out and bought the first two seasons on DVD. WOW! The show has given us strong women to be proud of. In a world where there are so many shows that do nothing but exploit women it was great to have a show that gave us a women who was not afraid to kick some butt and then turn around and cry over the things that she had to do on that particular show. Bringing the baby into her life at this stage is a great way to show a different side of Sydney, one who has her own doubts about her abilities as a mother since she did not have one herself.
I LOVE this show and am going to miss it greatly! Thank you for five GREAT years, and having the show on DVD so I can watch it anytime.

i first got caught on to Alias in the fourth season near the end and i couldn't belive my eyes. the first episode i saw was "tuesday" when sydney was taken captive and buried alive, once i saw this, i became addicted. i actually order every season! i am amazed at sydney's ability to adapt to certian situations like in the pilot episode when th "suit and glasses" had her captured. this show atracted me also because sydney is a smart, athletic, and sensitive WOMAN NOT MAN, BECAUSE IT SEEMS AS IF MEN DO EVERYTHING!!! BUT NOT ANYMORE, GIRL POWER!

Alias is a mind blowing addictive series that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the time you start watching it in anticipation for what is to come next and I can't wait to see the next set of disc come out and I'm sure there will never ever be another series like it in the history of TV. I have watched every Season and have every Season on Disc and enjoy every second and will cry the minute that Alias goes off the air. I absolutely love this show and will miss it's so much.

I've always wanted to watch Alias, but didn't even know much about it till the 3rd season. Everytime I turned it on, I couldn't understand who she was working for and just turned the channel. About 6 mths ago, I got real sick for a week and decided to rent the Alias videos from season one. I finally get it!! I got so addicted, I kept renting the videos and got caught up so that I could watch the end of this season. I am so sad to see it go especially since all the episodes are fresh in my mind. The best episodes are w/ Sydney and Vaughn and I really hope that the end is true to the show and Sydney/VAughn end up together! I know, I'm a sap! Can't help it, love great endings!!

Have been a fan of the show from the start and will be sad to see Sydney leave. It seems to me that the writers are starting to run out of alot of the ideas that had us captured to the show from the start, but I have all the DVDs so I'll be able to revisit Sydney from time to time and have an Alias weekend. Good Bye Sydney sorry to see you leave. All Alias Fans will miss all of you guys now there is no reason to watch tv on wednesday now for me.

This show for last five years has been the best entertaining show on T.V. since "Spenser for Hire". Jennifer Gardner really played her role and It was a pleasure turning on the set week after week to see her going on her missions and saving her friends. It's gonig to be boring on T.V. Once "Alias" leaves the air. God for Dvd's.

ALIAS is the perfect spy-fi show that I have ever seen. From the very first episode of the first season I knew it was going to be a great show. The story plot from the beginning got me hooked; when Syd's fiancee died and she still had the coourage to work for Arvin Sloane in SD-6 I knew that it was going to be drama.
Especially the Rambaldi prophecy was awesome, the way it predicted that Sydney was the Chosen One and what happened to Nadia in Russia;it all just connects together.

Thomas you have the right to state your own opinion, but I don't know how you can even compare LOST to ALIAS. LOST has already had like twice as many episodes in two seasons than ALIAS ever did. I actually own the first season of ALIAS and it fits on like 3 DVD discs. The first season of LOST is like 8 DVD's long I think. Anyways, I am a big fan of both shows but I do agree that sometimes it would be more interesting if the shows were longer. I wish that they would have made ALIAS two hours long all the time and the same thing goes for LOST. Sometimes LOST is a bit hard to follow though, I wish they would hurry up and explain what the Dharma thingy is and what it has to do with the people on the island.

The first episode I watched was actually the pilot during syndication. First, I kicked myself for not watching sooner, Second, I burned a hole in my video membership card renting all of the episodes I've missed. Money WELL spent! JJ Abrams definitely put the action back in action TV. It's sad to see this series go but it will go on top. Here's hoping that ABC will take another chance with an empty checkbook and put another great action series on TV instead of another boring reality show

ALIAS is the first show that I became addicted too. I believe that there should be more TV shows that give you multi-dimentional characters. Sydney was a strong carrer women, but vulnerable in her personal life. The same muti-dimention goes for Vaughn, Sloane, Irina, etc. People in the real world have a little good and bad in them. The other aspects of the show that caught my attention were that the show was fast paced. Most shows that are series drama's give you one problem for weeks at a time. ALIAS was always loaded with issues per episode. Some may be resovled, some partially resolved, some never resolved. REAL LIFE!!! Not that anyones life was to this extent. We all have to admit though we deal with the work/personal life juggle daily. The core of the show was real. The action spy aspect was extra. I am sad to see it go. I wish all the actors, writers, and crew future success. Thank you for the one hour of escape for the last 5 years.

I have been watching Alias since Day 1 from year one and I will truly miss Wednesday night. I am going into a bit of withdrawal because of it as there are no real good shows left for me to tune it too.
The show storylines really keep you on your toes from discovering Sydney's identity and what she does to surprising twist and turns for the season finales.
I hope the show's producers can make the fans happy by wrapping up the show with a bang but also tie up loose ends of the various stories.
Especially since this is the series finale.
Thanks for 5 good season.
I will miss it a lot. Not sure how I will cope without watching Alias as I have centre my schedule to watch this show for 5 seasons.

I will miss Alias. Been a fan since the beginning. I'm just a little worried (knowing how Alias has been in the past) that the series finale will resolve all the questions we have....... only to end in some sort of new Cliffhanger that we will never see the resolution to.
