Seacrest out ... of his mind to buy a house for $11.5M?

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest
has
bought Kevin Costner's Hollywood Hills
home for $11.5 million. WTF?!
Seriously, how much house does one person need? Could he spend, maybe, $2
million on a really nice home, and maybe spend the rest on hair product, or maybe gifts for Teri? Why spend that much
money, unless you're role model is Dr. No and you plan on trying to take over the world from sercret underground lair?
Is the place surrounded by water like in Costner's
Waterworld?
I'm actually a defender of Seacrest,
though I guess this seems a bit extravagant to me. But what do I know? I'm just happy I could pay my electric bill this
month.

i'm pretty sure a $2m home in la could get you a decent 2500 sq ft house in studio city. in case you didnt know, there's a big housing bubble, so that price isnt unreasonable at this time.

Actually I was thinking about this yesterday after I read he bought Costner's house. I feel that Ryan is trying to maintain a certain lifestyle since he is soooooo out there. I mean, you can't get away from this kid.....he's on buses, billboards, everywhere I look. God, he is one lucky guy. Hey listen, Ryan, if you have too much space there and don't know what to do with it all, give me a call!
ENJOY - LIFE IS SHORT!!!

Hey...if he could afford it...more power too him. He is everywhere...so at least he is working for his millions. I would hate to pay the taxes, the gardner, the pool person, the electric, water and whatever bills he'll have to pay. It might get old...but he'll find out soon enough.

Dearest Jennifer, I have never even heard of Ryan SeaCrest until now! I think you must be very sheltered because you stated that you see his name everywhere & I have never even heard of him. I just returned from Overseas just yesterday on the 9th after being away 4 months to Yokohama, Pusan, Xiaman China, Hong Kong, Yantain, Singapore, Laem Chabang & Kaohsiung Taiwan (which are big cities) & I never saw any billboards with this SeaCreast guy. Where do you live?

Seatime37, I think you must be living in a box. Ryan Seacrest is everywhere. He's going to be almost as popular as Dick Clark.

Does Seacrest really care what we poorer people think? He spends his money as he wants, as we all do to satisfy our needs and wants.

Ryan Seacrest has worked hard for fame. Everyone should just leave him alone. He deserves it. I enjoy and appreciate him.

It is so very, very, very sad that he makes that much money. He's like Carson Daly, famous for no particular reason. What a load...!
