Kiefer Sutherland and 20th Century FOX reached a
deal for three more seasons of 24. According to The Hollywood
Reporter, Sutherland will make at least $40 million for playing Jack Bauer for three more seasons, making him the
highest-paid actor in a drama series. Sutherland's title improves from co-executive producer to executive producer,
which will undoubtedly rake in some more cash for him. And, the deal also includes a development fund for Sutherland to
develop and produce projects for television and the internet (what? FOX has heard about the internet?).Three more really bad days ahead for Jack Bauer

Next season, on "24: Hawaii", Jack Bauer goes water skiing and shoots a great white shark. For decades to follow, people will say: "Man, that show really shot the shark."

Really sounds like some may have a bit of envy for Kiefer cause no matter what he plays in is really great...just look at him, plus he can play about any role.

Good show. Keeps me on the edge of my seat I must say. Wasn't too happy about them making prez Logan the "big bad guy" after they had done such a good job developing his character into the wishy-washy weak livered president. Kind of anticlimactic...but oh well.

3 more seasons of 24 is way better than any more of the crap called American Idol. Talk about being monotonous, there can only be so many times I see terrible singers battle it out against quality singers and Simon say mean stuff.. WOW, really thrilling. 24 hasn't completely 'jumped the shark' (not shot) but they have been teetering on it since the first season. Take it for what it is an entertaining web of plot twists meant to take up an entire season. Sure the show could be done in 6 episodes making it a mini-series, but 24 is still the only show using such an interesting format. I just wish we saw Jack have to take a break for some food, or to use the restroom, make it a little more believable. ;-)

24 is one of the best shows on tv today. With things the way they are in the world today, it isn't too far from real life. Way to go Kiefer!

THE ONLY TROUBLE WITH KIEFER SUTHERLAND IS THAT HE HAS ONLY ONE VERY TIRING VOICE IN ALL THE ACTING HE HAS DONE. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM ACTUALLY CHANGE THE PITCH OF HIS VOICE EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. HE IS GETTING BORING.

The city of Los Angeles once named a street after Jack Bauer in gratitude for his saving the city several times. They had to rename it after people kept dying when they tried to cross the street. No one crosses Jack Bauer and lives.

I was thinking about what would be an interesting and unique plot twist for the show and I decided it could be a great idea to turn Kim. Kim hates CTU and has lost so much that she just might crack and go to the "dark side". Kim killing Jack off would also be a shocking end to 24.
