Yup, it's true. The short-lived CBS series
is
coming to DVD this summer, confirming the rumors
that we talked about here shortly after the show was canceled.
The entire series will be released in one
set. No word yet on extras or whether or not they'll include episodes that were filmed and never aired, though I assume
there will be both.
Now ABC: what about
Eyes?

I'd buy this in a second... I loved the show and I think it was one of the better of the sci-fi genre to air in a long time...
Just like that... they cancel shows because most people don't have 2 braincells to rub together to understand it.
I hope they show the whole series...

I'm really sorry this one got cancelled. My wife and I both commented after the first couple of episodes that it woud not make it because it required the audience to THINK! So I guess we agree with you Chacotay, not enough people watching with two brain cells to rub together.
Anyway, it's a shame to see good creative work get wasted. The good thing is that the past episodes have been picked up by the Sci-Fi Channel, and most of their audience is more than likely able to understand the fine points.
Network TV-Land must be mostly people who also watch all the FOX reality shows instead of anything thought provoking.

I am a new viewer to this show (via. the SciFi channel) and was saddened to find out that it is a discontinued show. An alien force whose powers are almost supernatural, yet are limited by the abilities and imagination of the humans they infect, brilliant. this left the story open for so many possibilities. Sadly, several of the friends that I convinced to watch it could not follow the stories, so I can see why it was probably cancelled. Hopefully the SciFi channel will continue it.
I have a feeling that this kind of idea will be used again, like Stargate SG1 it has to many possibilities to remain a dead story (however it would be nice to see the same ensemble of actors portraying these characters).
