How long have they been talking about a Simpsons movie? About twenty
billion years now? It seems us fans have been bombarded with supposed "real news," rumors, and gossip about
our favorite yellow family making it to the big screen for longer than we can remember. At one point I even heard they
would be coming to the big screen in the form of short segments to be shown before the feature.
Well, according to reports, a teaser for an honest to goodness, bona fide Simpsons movie was shown before Ice Age 2: The Meltdown. I didn't see this movie because I hated the first Ice Age, but did any of you happen to see it? Can you verify the claim? If eveything they're reporting is true, we should be seeing the film in July 2007.

I saw a promo on FOX last night where Kent Brockman promised that on this Sunday's episode, "Simpsons fans would hear the news you've been waiting 17 years for."
I was thinking it might be an announcement of the long-rumored movie. This would seem to confirm that.
Hey, if they can make it a good flick, bring it on.
