TVGenius, Combs was fired in 1994, and Dawson took over for a year. He was lame (he had gotten married -- to a former contestant! -- and he refused to slobber all over the female contestants like he used to) and the show was axed. Combs went on to host a show called "Family Challenge" for a year or so; he committed suicide in 1996, after his marriage fell apart.

where is Richard Karn & why did he leave "Family Feud? I thought he was great,I loved watching him every day on channel 2 wgrz ontario canada.I am really going to miss him, is he going to be on any where else?

Richard Karn did a great job on family feud. O'Hurly wont even come close to matching the job Karn did. Putting new life into the show with a different stage setting is one thing but getting rid of the best host they every had in Karn is some thing else. The show will head down hill I am sure............Bill

did they let Richard Karn go, he made that show a success. O'Hurley may be good in other areas but he
stinks as the host of Family Feud. Sorry but I will no longer watch the show, unless Richard Karn comes back. He added charm, wit, and a friendly warmth like
no other. Best host ever.

I was shocked when Richard Karn was replaced by O'Hurley. O'Hurley is too stiff and superficial to relate to the audience. Unless Richard Karn comes back, I'm over it!

I was totally shocked when I tuned in to watch the
Feud. Richard Karn had the best personality and casual
attitude for that show. He seemed to make the contestants very relaxed. Extremely poor judgement replacing him with O'Hurley. Unless Richard comes
back to the Family Feud I will no longer watch the show. O'Hurley makes me feel uncomfortable, he kind
of acts like a robot. I need Richard back, he's the BEST gameshow host on the planet.

I watch Family Feud every day at lunch time, and totally enjoyed Richard Karns' genuine and easy and smart and warm way with the contestants. This new guy is so smarmy and repulsive, I can no longer watch the show.Especially when I am eating.
How do we let the network know HE STINKS?//////
Get rid of O'Hurley quick, before we all hurl.

What happened to Richard? I think you made a big mistake replacing him with a soap opera hasbeen. He has a personality of lint. We really liked watching the show but will no longer watch your show until Richard returns or a suitable replacement.
