I wish they'd cancel The Insider

I could say this about
Access Hollywood too,
but just look at the stories on
The Insider and
ET tonight:
- Psychics at a nudist
colony!
- Star Jones talks about her boobs!
- Male star sex change...in 7 minutes!
- Pat O'Brien - or "P.O.B." as they call him - interviewing Sharon Stone! (Enough said.)
- New
Terry Schiavo book scandal...in 8 minutes!
Gah. These shows can make you hate humanity. (Tomorrow
The Insider goes into "Paris Hilton's million dollar closet.")

No, the worst, absolute worst offense of the Insider is recycling content. Notice how they will run a story on Tonya Harding (who cares, really) for a WEEK. They shoot about 15 min. of footage, and will tell the damn story all week.
OK, maybe that's not the worst. Maybe it's how they turn every Brangelina sighting into the 2nd coming of anthrax. I think I'm under a terror alert with the nasal whine of the hosts shouting at the top of their lungs. Smigel said it all with his SNL parody, check it out when you have the chance.

I had to stop watching the Insider...too many promos within the show and not enough story. They finally get to the story and it's not as the over-hyped promo insinuated. And those obnoxious wrap up statements by Pat and Lara at the end of the show...who cares what your take on the stories are?

I definitely agree with you about this show! This show needs to be cancelled--yesterday!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one, who beleives that this show lacks little to be desired!
