Bones renewed for a second season

This is actually really good news. I thought this
show was a goner, but having
American Idol before and/or after it must have helped the ratings. FOX has
confirmed that
they have given another 22 episode order for the Emily Deschanel/David Boreanez drama.
I have to admit I
haven't seen the past 4 or 5 episodes, but still, this is definitely a show that deserves a second season and some time
to grow.

This is good to see, if only so I get to see more of Emily Deschanel. Whenever I catch an episode, I'm a little mezmerized by her. She's cuter and much less annoying than her sister Zooey.

As much as I loved Buffy and Angel, I'm realizing what a bad actor David Boreanez is. If you pay close attention, every line he delivers seems so, uh, "acted" and not natural. It bothers me. But the show and all its side characters are amusing. I tivo it and watch on the weekends when I've run out of other things to watch.

I much as I liked Buffy and its sequel, Angel, the only really good actors on Angel were the supporting players: Amy Acker (a breath of fresh air in the last few seasons), J. August Richards (wasted on Conviction), and especially Andy Hallett as Lorne. That being said, Bones has really been growing on me. It has more to do with Emily Deschanel and the supporting cast around her than Boreanez, whose character is like a parody of the Clint Eastwood type of Federal Agent. I am glad to see that it willbe renewed.

Wow, yet another show defies the Curse of the World Series Advertising.
I haven't seen this show but it looks like it probably has good characters or something.

Great news. Bones is the only regular network show that I watch. I love the interaction between the main characters and the stories are interesting. The concentration on dialog rather than excessive gore and sex is refreshing. Also the lack of CGI and other technical nonsense is also a relief! I hope that all of the regular charcters coninue into season two. Also I look forward to the DVD availablity of Season One.

Justice was finally done towards this show. This is the best decision the network has made. Now viewers who aren't familiar with the series will have the chance to watch it.
Develop the relationship between Booth and Bones and increase your viewership!!!!!!!!

GOOD WORK FOX. Constantly changing the timeslot of this program was not a good decision on your part since you wouldn't give viewers the opportunity to become familiar with this program. If you'd only develop the relationship between Booth and Temperance your viewership would definitely increase.....Think about it.

I was very happy to see Bones get a sophomore year on Fox. I've never really understood Fox's decision to constantly move this show around. It has the making of being a great show but you have to have an audience and you can't have an audience if you keep shifting the time slot. Hopefully, next season Bones will stay put and find the full audience it deserves. I hope the writers will see fit to provide more background into the main characters. And keep that chemistry between Booth and Brennan going...it's so fun to watch.

I must have missed the announcement, GREAT NEWS! I love David and just saw him on Ellen recently too. Sometimes you just have to say - Thank You American Idol! It saved House last year and saved Bones this year.

Well, it did not matter that Fox kept moving Bones around. I followed it whereever it went. Bones had me captivated from the very first episode. Of course, being a forensic nut didn't help. Anyone who enjoys that kind of stuff needs to watch this show. Of course watching Booth and Bones go back and forth is interesting as well. Lots of shows seem to be picking up that male/female bickering that I so love to watch. I really do hope this show is around a lot longer than two seasons!

I think that all of the cast are very good and very likeable which i think is always good because it means you can start to put yourself in there shoes as you do with Buffy and there cast. Can't wait for the second season hope i dont have to wait to long!!!
Looking forward to seeing if anything is going to develop between Booth and Brennan.

I enjoyed D.B.'s other shows more. Loved his chemistry with Charisma Carpenter. Would LOVE to see Charisma Carpenter as Wonder Woman in the upcoming feature film and Katharine McPhee as Wonder Woman on Smallville for the Wonder Woman/Diana Prince guest appearance. All they need are blue eye contacts.

I really love this show! It's light as compared to CSI with all the gore, morbid stuff & replaying of the crime scene but I love this more... Must be because of the fresh anthropology stuff, getting evidence with the bones itself without much use of techy stuff, the close interaction of science & law which is ofcourse not new but still the show made it refreshing.. & ofcourse, I love the chemistry of seeley & tempy. the bickering is really witty & funny! I really look forward to the next season... ;p

WAY TO GO FOX
This is a great show, and I'm thrilled to get more of it. Though not quite like Reich's books, its still fun for a fan to watch.
