For me, this is excellent news; finally I don't need to record
Lost and watch it later. Starting April 11, Veronica Mars will move back to its original time slot of
9 PM ET on Tuesday nights, with repeats airing the following night for the first few weeks.I'm really hoping this is a good sign for Veronica Mars' future with the new CW network, though there's also the possibility that they're doing the shuffle-o-death.
Naaah.

this is awful...tuesdays at 9pm are already the busiest time on the prime time schedule - House, Scrubs, The Unit, and Sons and Daughters are all worth wsatching or recording...adding Veronica Mars to that same timeslot is not a good idea

This sucks! House and Supernatural are on at 9 on Tuesday as well! :-( I already have to skip Scrubs and get it online because I can only record 2 shows.

They're trying the Gilmore Girls/Veronica Mars night before the WB/UPN merger to see how it goes. So it's actually a good sign that it's being moved.
Plus now I can finally watch VM, since I've skipped it for Lost.

Tim, Supernatural has moved to Thursdays now. So Veronica Mars doesn't conflict with it.

This works for me...
unlike Scrubs, Sons and Daughters and House, Lost and Veronic Mars are both serialized dramas with mystery and major plot twists that can be spoiled if you don't catch them when they originally air. The others, on the other hand, will be a nice treat to watch during the summer re-run season and stand pretty much on their own, so if you miss one or see them out of order, it doesn't really matter.
what's up with this gimmick of putting two eps of the same half hour comedy on back to back? i notice Sons and Daughters is doing this against two eps of Scrubs. For now it's workable, as I can watch the new Scrubs, then switch to the second of two S&D's but I find it a curious new development. Are there really that few decent half hour shows to put on the schedule?

Scrubs did it for a while, but I think that starting next week they are debuting the new 'Teachers.'
This kind of sucks. Sucks more than its move to Wednesdays, as that was one of my decieding factors in getting a Dual Tuner TiVo (the other being the fact that DirecTV is the only option for the NFL Sunday Ticket, and I moved across the country last summer). But I was finally getting into Scrubs (and wanted to give Teachers a try (it fits my rule of giving anything that a Buffy/Angel a two episode chance... Hey, it gave me How I Met Your Mother and Conviction, both of which I've liked so far (loved in the case of HIMYM))). And I like Unit. I think I'm the only on on TVS that does, but hey, I do.
Now that Bones has moved out of that Wednesday 9p EST slot, its like deserted. Just Lost. I guess Lost is just that scary.
Frankly, and I love Lost, but I think VM has been better this year.

This is GREAT!
Going up against Lost is Suicide in the ratings.
VM is one of the best shows on TV

Oh, and I just remembered the other reason I don't really care which night VM is on. On my UPN affiliate, Veronica Mars is re-run on Sunday evenings. In fact it might actually air two repeats each week in Columbus, OH. In NYC it repeated Sundays at 8pm, I'm pretty sure. So even with one Tivo you can watch Lost (or House) and still not miss VM.
Our local WB affiliate is odd, though. They show new Gilmore Girls eps at 11pm and when it was airing, Beauty and the Geek was on Sunday afternoon. Maybe the move to the CW will make these schedules a bit more consistent?
