I just don't get Deal Or No Deal, is it more or is there only about 3 minutes of programme with the rest being filler and false tension and strategy (at least in the UK version)?
"Hey, pick a load of boxes at random but inbetween each guess I'll make it sound like you could possibly influence the game and knock out the undesirable options by cleverly picking a preferable box... at random. Then we'll offer you some money to quit but we won't just offer you the money, we'll drag it out as if there's some real tension and negotiations happening. Once you have the offer I'll make out as if you have some huge decision to make and strategy to weigh up when in fact it's just a simple matter of odds and how much risk you're willing to take. Then if you don't take the deal you pick some more boxes... at random. Then we do it again."

It's not just the UK version. It sucks just as much here.

The New Adventures Of Old Christine is funny. I tuned in because of JL-D, but, I'd watch it regularly. Finally, one of the Sienfeld characters is moving away from the molds created on that show.
