Almost Famous, the reality show

MTV and Rolling Stone magazine are teaming up for a reality show about amateur journalists competing for a coveted writing position on the staff of the magazine. The show is going be taped this summer in New York and will most likely air in the late fall. Camera crews will follow around young music journalists as they interview bands and celebrities and try to weave their experiences into an entertaining tale fit for print.

You can still apply to be on the show at the Rolling Stone website or at MTV.com. The deadline is April 7.
