Here's a welcome piece of news (at least to me), via our friends at
The Futon Critic (and via another TVS-friendly blogger, Whitney
Matheson of USAToday.com): NBC has yanked the remaining six episodes of Four Kings from the schedule,
replacing them with reruns of My Name Is Earl. No word if the six leftover episodes will air, but it's not
looking good. Two of the stars have already signed on to new pilots, so the show's pretty much dead. Not that I'll miss
it, but it would be nice if Seth Green NBC pulls Four Kings

He is also a star of a little show called Family Guy, one of TV's biggest success stories of all time.

*Sigh*. Yes, I know he was in Buffy. And as some other commenters have pointed out, he's in Family Guy. And I might as well mention Austin Powers too, even though it's not a TV show.
But he wasn't the star of any of these shows. Any show that he's been in where he's the star has failed miserably, whether it's a good show (Greg the Bunny) or not (Four Kings).
It's amazing how literal people on the Internet can be sometimes...

Actually it sounds like a stupid overreaction but, this may be the final straw that makes me give up TV. Every single time I start to really anticipate a new show, it gets pulled. other than How I Met Your Mother, I've never had so much fun laughing at a traditional sitcom with my whole family. The episodes on this show were starting to get REALLY good. Seth Green was probably the weak point, but the dumb kid (admittedly I can't remember any character's names) is absolutely perfect. If it weren't for Scrubs, The Office, and How I Met Your Mother, I don't think I'd need to own a TV anymore -_-

I agree 100% Asher .. this is why I don't watch first year shows. I've watched Four Kings a couple times, because it fit into my Thursday roll before Earl/Office and I liked it - but it became a little stale, which isn't good when a show is 4 episodes in.
Heavon forbid NBC would give a show some time to develop

Perhaps I'm the only one, but I'm going to miss this show.
It wasn't a GREAT show, but it made me laugh, and I liked it.
Not many people seem to share my opinion, but I really don't think that they should be so quick to cancel it.
They barely gave it a chance, it's aired what only like 4 or 5 episodes?

I can't believe it got cancelled this soon. I really enjoyed the show, it was really funny. One of the best sitcoms out considering everything now is reality tv (which i'm not to crazy about)

I think 4 kings had great potential and was another mistake made by NBC, what idots it wasn't great but it was solid, i think the Olympics kinda played a role in the shows down fall you can't air 4 episodes and then just take a break for 2 weeks and expect everyone to remember that it was aired, THANKS NBC you idots.,. Oh and get rid of Lame Leno and get Conan in NOW Conan is the man

I thought it was really funny and no it wasn't given a chance I don't think, I'm sick of reading about people saying it was a bad show and blah blah b/c if it were something they liked they'd be upset too! I personally liked seths character the most..."annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the beef and broccoli" they never keep good shows any more...I can find humor in a lot of things but the office has no point but that is a hit S like that kills me
