I know I'm not the first person to wonder this. And, I'm definitely not complaining.
I really hated the "Seacrest, Out" that American Idol host Ryan Seacrest insisted on saying at the
end of every show last season. It made the show about him and not about the contestants. And, it's not Ryan Seacrest's
show. Maybe he was mocked
one too many times.

What I love about this loser is that he canibalizes everyone elses trademark as his own. His latest is to steal Heidi Klumes "you are in" or "you are out". Next he will be adding "Auf Weidersehen". In whose universe is this guy the epidemy of "IT"!!

It seems this change came about once he got picked to host NYE in place of Dick Clark. It's like he is trying to polish his career. Notice he's not wearing t-shirts on the show anymore too (didn't he have his own line of t-shirts too?) It's nice shirts, jackets, even a tie once in a while. I just take it as he is trying to make himself more respectable for those future gigs and he's not playing to the teenage audience anymore.

seacrest out was his way of saying "shows done" he was saying goodbye. why does everyone seem to have to make it out to be something that wasn't there. the reasaon he probably stopped was because the producers were really tired of getting gutter-minded letters over no big deal!!

Actually, J.Shell, the correct form, grammatically, is to use "whose" as it's the adjective form. "Who's" is short for "who is," which was obviously not the speaker's attention.
But all your other corrections were correct.

Stop picking on Ryan.....He's a refreshing addition to the endless list of boring emcees. I guess the networks are not concerned with "overexposure".....but they should be. Ryan steps in ...says what he needs to... then steps out....He does a fine job...I just hope he doesn't go for additional gigs.........

Jim Rome a well known public talk show host utilizes the phrase "Jim Rome out" when closing his show and this has been his trademark for many years prior to American Idol. I believe the originality of Seacrest Out might have been in question.

I read Seacrest dropped this phrase because his former co host The Dunkelman is using it as his sign off "Dunkelman out" he sure is out!!

Seacrest is so annoying and his rude comments to Simon are getting old. Why does he feel it neccessary to throw slurs at Simon. Is it his insecurity. Simon is the only one on the show that is even in the ball park of whats going on.
Paula is so wacked out on something every week, she can't even make complete sentences. Not to mention, that as she fumbles through trying to speak and commenting on the performances, Simons sits quietly and respectfully through her nonsense. However, when Simon goes to speak of the performance, she jumps in with her rude self and starts yelling and slapping his arm. She is pathetic. Dawg is okay sometimes. But the only consistant one is Simon.
Ryan is hopeless and annoying as well as Paula.
