A british actor who recently appeared in Dr.Who? Given that the new Dr.Who hasn't aired in the US yet, it begins next Friday on Sci-Fi, I am curious why you would choose that one instead of: Anthony Stewart Head, who played Rupert Giles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Did he appear in Doctor Who? I have seen the season that will be shown on Sci Fi and can't recall him being in it. He was, however, the Prime Minister in the British comedy series Little Britain

Anna - Anthony Stewart Head (or ASH as he's referred to in the Buffy world) was a regular on Buffy for 5 1/2 seasons and was on the show for 7. He starred in the old Taster's Choice commercials and his brother Murray Head put out the album "Chess" with the song "One Night in Bangkok." Tony is also an accomplished musician who has an album of his own called "Music for Elevators" although his singing on the Buffy musical episode "Once More, With Feeling" is more accessible to most listeners.
