Recently some pictures of Britney Spears were shown on this blog. Web surfers,
never needing much provocation to become livid over something that doesn't really affect them personally, were up in
arms over Brit's total disregard for her son's safety, who you can see is resting on his mom's lap and not in a
car seat. Apparently the pictures made the rounds on some news programs, prompting Spears to release a statement where she explained that she sped off in
a hurry to avoid what she considered a dangerous situation brought on by aggressive paparazzi. She claims a
similar incident with photographers trapped her in her car without her baby. My speculation is that
her mother instinct kicked in and she made a split-second decision, that's all. Or maybe she really is just a vacuous
scatterbrain with no regard for her child's safety. I don't necessarily believe it, but it does make for a more
entertaining story.

I'm thinking that if the photohogs were chasing her she probably wouldn't have her window open. That's all. Jer

I'm falling on the side that thinks she's a "vacuous scatterbrain with no regard for her child's safety". She doesn't seem to have much regard for her own safety either - she's not wearing her seatbelt.
The other thing is, her bodyguard is right beside her. She could have handed him her son and had him put the baby the car seat. Or, she could have handed him the baby, climbed into the back seat and then put the baby in the car seat. Seriously, there are many, many things she could have done that would have been MUCH safer.

Let's not forget that everyone will take a stupid shortcut with their kids at least once, and it's a bad idea, but it doesn't mean you're a bad mother or a bad ("vacuous scatterbrained") person. I bet she'll make sure little SP is strapped into his carseat until he's 12 after this.

This is the final nail in the coffin that she is NOTHING but white trailer trash and will always be.
Stupid bechitch... Isn't leaving the child in the $300 Britax car seat giving the child a better chance of surviving an accident that the "paparazzi" would've caused?
