Since I loves me some old timey cartoons I thought these old opening day fliers for Kings
Island in Cincinnati were pretty awesome. Yeah, they're just pamphlets, but they feature the Hanna-Barbera characters
who apparently roamed the park when they weren't on television. The fliers are from 1972. Nowadays it's the characters of Nickelodeon who represent the park. I
suppose that works, too.I don't tend to keep close tabs on amusement parks, but until now I was unaware that
Hanna-Barbera was ever associated with a theme park. I guess one can learn new things everyday, sometimes decades after
the fact.

Hello, I would and millions of other smurf fans would like to see the 9 Seasons of "The Smurfs" on DVD. "The Smurfs" movie is coming out 2008. So what a great time to bring out the 9 Seasons on DVD. I was thinking early 2007 to bring out Season 1. Then bring out other seasons every 2-3 months. This gives a year to watch some seasons before the first of three movies comes out. Plus having some DVD's out before the movie comes out. Gives kids that were born later then 1990. I chance to watch "The Smurfs". I think it's a great idea and so do many other people. Ask any Smurf fan. Please pass this on to whoever to make this happen soon. Us Smurfs fans are hoping for early 2007 for Season 1. Thank you.

Hanna Barbera characters were featured at Marineland of the Pacific, the LA theme park that was built by 20th Century Fox on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the mid 1950s (the park was also known as Hanna-Barbera's Marineland). I recall the association with HB coming in the 1970s. But I have seen evidence that it may have existed as early as the late 1960s.
