Things are back on track this week after last week's brief detour. Both mysteries get some
serious advancement in this episode, all the major players are there and -- thank God -- Veronica's not moping around
because her love is gone. The question I had at the end of the last episode was why would Wallace feel at all threatened by a newspaper reporter? Then, in this episode, we see that Wallace tells his story to the press, only to have it blow up in his face. OK, two things: 1) Wallace should have told the reporter where to stick it, and 2) Why the hell would Wallace tell a reporter before he told police?
It was great to see Keith getting back to business with the bus crash incident. It's almost as if Veronica's bending
of the rules is rubbing off on him, as I'm not sure he'd have broken into the evidence room last season.
I
have to say I felt a little cheated with the whole scheme setup with Jackie and Rashard. At first I thought for sure
that Jackie was in on the plan, but the look Veronica gave once she saw Jackie leaving with Rashard gave me doubts. I
guess I could pass it off as a look of, "I can't believe she pulled it off."
The first big item
of the episode came with the complete ass pummeling Weevil got from his gang. So, how will Weevil get his gang back?
Actually, I have a theory about that. I think we will find out that Thumper really did kill Felix, but he did it
because the Fitzpatricks told him to. Then the gang will see the errs of there ways and possibly come to Weevil for
forgiveness. I'm not really sure how else Weevil could get leadership of his gang back, unless the plan is to have him
stay alone, but I just can't see that.
Lastly, we get a big break in the bus accident case. The Mayor
seems to know something about what was going to happen on the bus, and now Sheriff Lamb seems to have something on
Terrence Cook. Sweeps week is going to be plenty interesting...
Quote of the episode: "I've got a
pantomine horse disguise you could use. Do any of you have experience being a horse's ass?"

This was another great episode. The best quote was the one you mentioned above when Weevil and Logan were asking for Veronica’s help. The second funniest thing was that Keith Mars was using Bill O’Reilly’s book “Those Who Trespass” to smuggle the tapes from the evidence room. Very Funny!
