Do
you ever get the feeling that someone is trying to squeeze every penny out of
Firefly fans? Yeah, me too.
Titan Books, which published a
companion
book to
Serenity, is preparing a companion book to the
Firefly television series. Creator Joss
Whedon wrote the introduction to the
Serenity companion, which features the original script to the movie,
storyboards, production notes and behind-the-scenes stuff. No word on whether Joss will endorse the new book.
Firefly: The Official Companion is scheduled for release this summer.

I have always been a sucker for companion books, well, technical companion books.

What are you lady, some kind of cynic?
If you had bothered to read the Serenity Companion, you would know that it has a ton of nice background info. The same held true for the Firefly Companion.
As a matter of fact, my only regret is that the Firefly Companion Volume 2 will not be available until early 2007.
