So, what have we learned in this episode? Firstly and most frighteningly, we've learned that the producers of
this show are absolutely not afraid to show us a fat man's bare ass within the first five minutes of the show. The Strike Team now knows that they're being watched, which definitely turns up the heat a whole lot more this
season. Those guys need to get networked laptops going so they can talk about the situation more. But that would be
just too easy for the show, right?
By the look on Vic's face when Danny says she's having a boy, there
seems to no question that the baby is his. I wonder where that's going to lead, if anywhere. It may just throw Corinne
away from Vic's side if she caught wind of it.
Vic knows Kavannaugh has a week spot, but what will that
be? I don't think he's slated to be on the show for the entire season, so I have to think something is going to send
him away. Could it be that something just makes the case go away? By the looks of what's to come next week, that may
be.
Awesome bust scene in this episode. Always love to see those go down. The filming of those scenes
really makes you feel the adrenaline that'd happen in a real situation like that.
Vic and the rest of the
Team having to dumb up in front of Lem's wire is brilliant. It really shows how much they do that would cause a stir
with IAD.
Shane is definitely one who'd sell Vic out at the drop of a hat, should IAD start to breath down
his neck a bit more. The scene with his wife was surely a way of telling us that.
Quote of the episode:
"You've never looked Mackey in the eye, had him lie straight to your face and made you doubt yourself, even though
you knew he was full of shit."

This was a fantastic episode. Forest's character is awesome he makes the show edgy. You never know whats gunna happen the preview for the next episode showing things heating up with Cavanaugh and Mackey are very interesting. I think Cavanaugh has a very bad side thats gunna come around very soon, maybe vic has met his match this time.

Jon Kavanaugh is an evil mirror universe Dutch. This episode, even more so than the previous two, confirms that. This isn't to say he's a bad character, mind--just very Dutch-ish.

I still think it's Ronnie. He had a big grin on his face when Danny said it's a boy. And yes, good episode, better than the previous one. Good thing Corinne caught on.

It would be a twist if Ronnie is the dad, but I think he'd say more than "conratulations", even if he is suppose to keep it quiet. I mean they can't even remember that Lem is wearing a wire, as evidenced when shane wanted to beat up the guy on the balcony, and Ronnie was saying they have to do soemthing fast, which was funny to watch, as Vic had to motion toward Lem's chest as if to say "Shut the hell up!".

#7. Classic. Dutch is such a doofus its amazing that hsi job is to assess and analyze people. I see Shane's wife saying somethign stupid to Vic or being on the IAB hook as well or her mom.

The whole episode was very solid. I wonder if that was an intentional screw-up on Kavannaugh's part with Corinne. He seems too slick to be caught that easily.
Most jarring scene for me though was Shane going for a cigarette after sex. We never see cigarettes on TV anymore (and they never show him actually smoke it) but somehow it seemed very important for the writer or director to showcase the act of smoking for Shane.
Is it possible they've been able to make Julian somehow even more annoying?

I always expected more from the character of Julian. I forget what season had the arc of him being homosexual, and marrying that woman with the boy. I figured they would expand on that and show more the conflict of him trying to not be gay. From what I recall, they touched on it breifly and just dropped it.
