We don't often break into the weekly SA column to supply you with a single spoiler, but something just flew across my virtual desk that warrants a special post. The spoiler in question has to do with The O.C., so if you're not interested in learning more, stop reading right now. If you want to learn more, check after the jump.
As some of you O.C. fans may already know, it's been reported that someone dies this season. I've been given word from a very reliable (and anonymous, to the rest of you) source of who the victim is. So, if you don't want to know who that person is, stop reading right now. Have you stopped reading yet? You sure? OK, here it is. The person who dies this season is played by the actor I'm linking to here. Just scroll down that page and you'll see what role the person plays.

Eh, no big surprise. I thought that actor was the most worthless character since the whole Oliver fiasco.

Yeah, like what exactly was his purpose on the show? Not hot. Not funny.

I already figured it was this character. After reading the spoiler on spoilerfix.com which stated that "[...] was on the edge of reason" it made me think to this. And also, after seeing that he doesn't show up in the other spoilers, it pretty much gives it away.

Good. The show finally started improving, only to have this guy dragging it down.

Hmmm....I'm undecided , i think I'll miss him ...I liked his character before he got all marissa infatuated and depressed....but they never keep new characters for more than a few monthes so i guess it was inevitable.

i think theyre getting rid of him, because they dont know what to do with him next- like people want him to do this, do that. so they just kill him-

Oh thank God. I find their entire relationship forced for sake of a story (Mariska/Johnny that is.) I thought when he had a girlfriend his constant popping up and helping her at every turn creepy and weird and he seems so completely spinless -- and really invasive I'm surprised Ryan hasn't kicked his ass already. Last week was only interesting b/c the sister actually jolts some life into the show that used to be great. I get a sense that Josh Schwartz is off developing b/c the show is so off all the characters this season have come and gone w/ little to no effect story wise -- The Dean and his ridiculous Vendetta -- and then his fast departure, Charolette who also was like Johnny -- if Kirsten had remotely wanted that woman in her life instead of turning down her offers right and left then maybe maybe it would have made for an interesting storyline -- instead it was like no personal reason just wanted her money and she didn't have any...
Taylor is another good character -- makes me laugh. But I'm not happy w/ this season at all and I couldn't WAIT the return after Trey got shot .......
Oh well.

I liked Johnny at first because he was nice to Marissa, but then it seemed like he became thw writers charity case and while I am somewhat a fan of Ryan and Marissa, that is not why Johnny started to irritate me. It reminded me of the whole Oliver thing from season one and I for one am glad he's being killed off. he recently has really gotten under my skin.

That character is a big douche, his boyfriend/sidekick too, along with that whole Oliver mess as the first comment mentioned. What the hell are they thinking when they bring in worthless characters and storylines?

Of course he's going to die...he's too useless to keep on the show through next season.

I For one know that the real reason they brought Johnny onto the show was to really give Marissa's transition to the public school, which either way the writers probably did not want her to look like a loner at Newport Union. come on People, you have to have useless character's it further's the shows identity, I agree with most that Johnny's character was getting really stale, and the whole oliver thing was a roadblock challenge for Marissa and Ryan's "Relationship". If they would not have these useless character's season's 1 and 2 would have been just as boring as Season 3's is right now, but as you know it is only the mid season which is always the most boring of any series on TV. Come on get to the SEX, DRUGS, and VIOLENCE PLEASSSSSSE...

Thank god. I loved Ryan Donowho and I got pretty pissed when I found out he was going to be everywhere now that he was on the OC. And it got even worse when his character was so ridiculous. Maybe now they'll introduce a GOOD plotline and he can go back to doing GOOD films.

Uh yeah its time for him to go. What a waste of lines. What use was he again?? Just there to once again mess up ryan and marissa relationship like we have not seen that before, really that story line is just getting old.

Ok so at first I realllly liked Johnny. I thought he was uber hot and like I dont know, I just liked him. So then I bought the first and second seasons of The O.C. and relized, I don't want anyone getting in between Ryan and Marissa's PERFECT relationship. and uh HELLO that is exactly Johnny's purpose. He definitely added drama to the show and isn't that what The OC is all about? My point: I think that with Johnny dead, and Marissa truly having feelings for him, we're bound for mega drama.
