Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi sparked a lot of discussion following his behavior on the red carpet last week
while co-hosting the Golden Globes arrival show for E! Some outrageous moments include grabbing Scarlett
Johansson's breast, looking down Teri Hatcher's dress, questioning Eva Longoria about her pubic hair, and referring to
Charlize Theron's character in Monster as a "scary dyke with bad teeth." Yes, he was totally
sexually harassing these women. Although none of those actresses have filed any complaints about their treatment, the
Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is skeptical about whether Mizrahi should be working the red carpet during
the Oscars. A spokesman for the Academy said they expect that Mizrahi won't behave like that on their red carpet and,
if he does, "I cannot predict what we would do afterwards."Did anyone watch the E! preshow? Was it offensive? I didn't see it, but this totally makes me want to watch the Oscars preshow in March. I'm hoping he takes Russell Crowe down a notch or two.

I was surprised that Issac got away with some of the things he was doing!

Also, he clearly offended Hilary Swank by asking her what she was doing now that she was single. Very miffed, she replied that she wasn't single and was working on her marriage.

Personally, I don't like Isaac. I stumbled across his talk show on Style a few times and he's just so... ADD. It seems like every time I see him, he's interrupting his guest or going completely off-topic. He's irritating, to say the least.
I don't understand why E! has to hire the most annoying people to work the red carpet. I think they're actually testing the actors to see who is smart enough to walk away.

I was actually pretty shocked that Mizrahi thought that he was being anywhere near appropriate. There were even a few times when Ryan Seacrest tried to intervene (and that's saying a lot)!

His comments crossed the line. Have to admit though that if he does another event he just might find himself looking up from the ground when he askes the wrong person those type of questions or makes the wrong comment.

Get with it, people. Isaac is GAY and I don't mean stupid. He is a Homosexual and cannot be sexually harassing to a woman. He wants NOTHING from them. His comments are about the same as what you will hear in your local gay dance club. Very, very funny. Lets face it. The woman he grabbed, poked and looked at are being paid tremendous sums to show off their attributes and this deserves a funny public comment or two. Want the cash, become a star but expect some insults to come your way (note: he didn't insult them...and was very complimentary of their "charms".

Inappropriate or not, it made for some captivating television. I never watch these things but I was riveted but what Isaac would do next. It was great seeing the reactions of the celebrities and I was impressed, in particular, by how Keira Knightley handled it. She seems to have a good sense of humor.
But even if he does the red carpet again it won't be the same. Either he will be told to turn it down or the celebrities will be prepared so it will never be the same. It will be one of those rare television experiences and for that I salute you Isaac. Well that and feeling up Scarlett.

It says something about entertainers that they will allow someone to grab their breasts, ask what -- if any -- underwear they are wearing, ask how their pubes are styled AND ANSWER THE QUESTION! It's really rather sad. Can you imagine someone playing with Bette Davis' breasts on television, or asking Olivia de Havilland what underwear she was wearing, or inquiring of Katherine Hepburn whether her pubes were shaved or natural? All three of these women would have probably beat the hell out of anyone who asked such personal and absurd questions, let alone answer them.
I'm not one of those who whine about the "golden age" of Hollywood, but it would be nice if celebrities would not share so many personal things about themselves. They wonder why they are forced to fight off ever-increasingly tyrannical paparazzi! They are creating the situation they all whine about hating. I would have told Isaac to mind his own damn business. Geez! And I thought Joan Rivers and Star Jones were bad!
Of course, we the viewer have a role in this, as well. If Americans were not so obsessed with knowing EVERY little personal detail about celebrities, these paparazzi terrorists would be out of a job.

Eh, not sexually harassing by any stretch, certainly inappropriate to some, but nothing anyone with a gay best friend who loves to get all handsy with the gal's clothes hasn't already experienced. I'm sure some red-states-ers were offended, but considering the regular viewership of E! to begin with, I think it's probably just a little eyebrow raising. At most.
Certainly fine with me if Isaac doesn't do the red carpet coverage for the Oscars, as that event attempts to be more high-brow, but the Golden Globes are a party. Everyone expects a little irreverent behavior. That's why there are big bottles of hooch at every table. ;)
God bless Hollywood.

Hard to imagine missing Joan and Melissa. But, I did. He was and is silly, annoying and inappropriate to the point of needing to be "pulled". His show is equal to his performance on the red carpet! He is mostly interested in his own voice, his "delicious cup of coffee", and astrological signs of the guests pets! Yikes!

"E! correspondent Isaac Mizrahi groped Scarlett Johansson's breast, looked down Teri Hatcher's dress, asked Eva Longoria about her pubic hair and otherwise caught celebrities off-guard."
FAR MORE ENTERTAINING THAN JANET JACKSONS STUNT AT LAST YEARS SUPERBOWL!
