Just came across this press release at The Futon Critic: William
Shatner will be featured on another installment of Living In TV Land, a show that follows TV legends around as
they conduct their life, with a lot of contrived dialogue and situations thrown in for good measure. We will see Bill as
he puts on a concert with singer-songwriter Ben Folds -- the two collaborated on Shatner's last album Has Been
-- and follow him to the Emmys, a Star Trek convention, and the set of Boston Legal. During the show, he'll
"run into" friends like Leonard Nimoy, Patrick Stewart and Kate Mulgrew (what, George Takei wasn't available?). The show will air on TV Land on March 22.TV Land tried this concept out last year with an episode about Dick Van Patten, and I've got to tell you, it was
pretty bad, mainly because everyone on the show looked about as natural as Dick's toupee. But, apparently, the Shatner
episode will be a sneak preview of a new series of Living In TV Land episodes, which will feature Barry
Williams, Adam West, Davey Jones, Sherman Hemsley and Fred Willard. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these
train wrecks (the shows, not the actors) in motion.

I'll take any opportunity I can to see Ben Folds do his thing.

You're WAY off base calling Fred Willard a "trainwreck". He continues to do very good movies (Anchorman, Best In Show) and television. Willard may be the ONLY reason to watch this show.

Mike, I thought the *show* was going to be a train wreck, not the individual actors. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

why does TVSquad give no weekly review love to Boston Legal? Shatner is in his PRIME on this show.
