NBC's new, incredibly hyped "Must-See" lineup premieres tonight: Will and Grace
at 8pm, Four Kings at 8:30, My Name Is Earl at 9, The Office at 9:30, and ER at
10.
- FOX has Rob Schneider in The Hot Chick at 8.
- CBS has a repeat CSI at 8, followed by a new CSI and then a new Without A
Trace.
- ABC has the new season of Dancing With The Stars at 8, with Tatum O'Neal, George Hamilton, Jerry
Rice, Giselle Fernandez, Master P, Kenny Mayne, Drew Lachey, Tia Carrerre, and Lisa Rinna.
- We're still in repeat mode over on the WB (Smallville, Beauty and the Geek), and UPN
(Everybody Hates Chris, Love, Inc, Eve, Cuts).
- ABC Family has the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at 8.
- TNT has basketball at 8, the Rockets vs the Caviliers.
- Also at 8, The Travel Channel has a new show called Jack Osbourne Project, which I assume is the
same Jack Osbourne as in Ozzy? Tonight he climbs El Capitan.
- The Biography Channel has a bio of Tom Jones at 8. I used to put on shows for my family when I was 5,
imitating Tom Jones. And I can't believe I just admitted that.
- At 9, Food Network has The $100,000 Chicken Challenge.
- Oh wait, the Jack Osbourne Project is on again! In this ep he climbs another mountain in
Thailand and runs with the bulls at Pomplona.
- BBC America has Touching Evil at 9. Whatever happened to the American version of this, that ran on
USA a couple of years ago?
- Also at 9: American Life has Maverick, followed by Bronco and Kung Fu.
- HBO has Starsky and Hutch at 9, with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Vince Vaughn.
- At 10, HGTV has a new House Hunters, while MTV has a new True Life.
- Comedy Central reruns the Richard Pryor special, I Ain't Dead Yet... at 10.
- Also at 10: Court TV has two new eps of Texas SWAT, followed by Hollywood Heat.
- Brooks and Dunn have a concert on CMT at 11.

I wondered the same thing about the American version of "Touching Evil". I thought it was terrific! And then it died. Perhaps the ratings weren't great?

Unfortunately, Touching Evil did indeed get cancelled in August 2004 due to poor ratings. There was a small Save Our Show campaign started, but it was unsuccessful due to lack of support behind it.
