Some call me an idiot, some, an idiot savant. Both are unfortunately probably accurate
descriptions (just ask C.K., Keith or Tom), but sometimes, I tend to get lucky. Let's take a trip in the wayback
machine and go aaallllll the way back to October 13th
2005, when I asked you guys what shows you'd like to see in iTunes' music store. In that post, I said that I'd
personally like to see some of Disney's classic 'toons available for download, and then in the comments we talked about
how doing recaps of ABC/ESPN's Monday Night Football the day after the game
would be a great idea. So, flash forward to today; if you check out the store, recaps of last night's Sugar and Fiesta
Bowls are available. They also have schedules of when the other BCS games will be ready for you mobile sports nuts to
download to your iPods. Also, according to iLounge, ABC
is going to offer select animated shorts and films later this month.Along with these two gems, ABC/Disney announced a ton of other great programming that is going to be available for the
iTunes store. Schoolhouse Rock, Ebert &
Roeper (hope this means the podcast will still be free) and America's Funniest
Home Videos to name some of my favorites. On top of this paid content, they're also going to be adding free
vignettes from ABCNews (Good Morning America and World News Tonight) on a daily basis. I love it! Synergy here we come! Let me know what you think.iTunes TV Shows Wave 3 (or is this 4?)
